@summerfae I guess I started playing guitar around 5th grade, but I didn't really get into it until high school. So, it's been a while now. Of course, I've always played rhythm. Lead is not my thing. My fingers/brain don't work like that.
I agree about the old Anberlin. I really like their stuff from Cities and New Surrender, but their new album is still awesome... cuz ya know... it's Anberlin lol :)
@Sunnysun033 I did not like New Surrender at all, but Dark Is The Way, in my opinion, makes New Surrender look fantastic. My favorite two albums are Never Take Friendship Personal and Cities, but I also love Blueprints just as much. I just can't get into Dark Is The Way. The only two songs I really like are Impossible and Art of War.

@aaleman1 i feel like each album has its own style...dark is the way is softer rock..when i first went through all the songs i wasnt really feeling it but i listened to them a few more times and i like it now...the style maybe different but their lyrics are still beautiful and meaningful. i like songs like down, pray tell and hell or high water
@X101Andy There are definitely songs on the album I like, but their first three albums are still the ones I go back to. They have a lot more meaning for me.
