  • i live up at flat creek church lol. right there.

  • i live in eagle mountain!!

  • I am in Coosawatee as well, just inside the Eagle Mountain gate, we got it really bad too, we have (STILL) holes in the roof and many trees down. Insurance company is moving SLOW!!

  • @derekgriggs My place is finished back the way it was. I have Allstate insurance with Payne insurance agency in Ellijay and have had no problems so far.

  • Holy shit dude, that's unbelievable how much damage was done. I live in the more mountainous area of Ellijay, so the tornado didn't get to us. Still knocked down a lot of power poles and trees though, most of the people in my area was out of power 2-3 days. No house damage though, so luckily no one was injured.

How's it going now though? Got everything fixed up, or does it still look like a war-zone?

  • @Tahalika My back yard looks like a war zone and will be that way for a long time. I have about $25 to $30,000 worth of tree removal. I'm in the Coosawattee Resort. My deck is finished and waiting for gutters now and some painting.

  • Where is Ellijay is this?

  • @daradaina In northern Georgia about 70 miles south of Chattanooga Tennessee.

  • @outsix Sorry -I mistyped. Where IN Ellijay is this? I was wondering if it is near Double Knob (off of Boardtown) as a neighbor of mine there had a roof blown off. I can't imagine what you are going through with dealing with the cleanup. Do I correctly see that nothing fell on your main house? Unbelievable luck.
