al akhawayn is ranked 4790 in the world, and 30 in africa, there are three moroccan universities that are ranked higher, abdelmalek esaadi 3664 cadi ayyad 3962 and ecole mohammadia d'ingenieurs 4774, so what's the big deal?

If you hate it that much, why are you attending it??? I do believe it's a great university, but as any other university in the world it gives you the means to succeed and do not garantee your success!!!! Seriously, if you really believe it's the worst place to be then go away!!!

What do you mean by "objective point of view"?, if you're talking about facts, then I can tell you more about my own experience and those of my former classmates. Anyway, remember Mehdi that by giving a wrong opinion about AUI, you're harming yourself first!! Well, I definitely invite you to come to one of AA (Alakhawayn Alumni Association)meetings, so we can talk. AA meetings will start again in the beg. of September.

If it was a university for spoiled people, it would not be giving so many scholarships, it would not be made of such a heterogeneous population, with this much difference between the cohabiting social classes and ethnical backgrounds. Shame on AUI students who post here such aberrations encouraging misconceptions... Your diploma's value is also influenced by people's opinion of the university !! The university opens its doors for anyone willing to realize what it has to offer to its students.

OK .. but even that, I don't see AUI on the top 500 univeristy set by Shangai univeristy. Not even on the top 1000.

Worst, on the OCI (Organazation de la conférence Islamique) only one Moroccan univeristy is present: Alkadi Iyad - Marrakech.
