Thanks guys you are right this is a 4 cylinder. Since it was a tremendous sound, I can't imagine what would be hearing a 3 cylinder! The same 'mountain run' takes place on 20th. June 2009 again. I'll be there hoping for a MV triple.
Hey, no worries, thought it was refused although I wasn't being rude or anything. the MV500 3 and 4 are great bikes anyway and they sound jsut goes right down my spine!!!!. I saw both of them together with the MV6 and other great bikes @ Biker's Classic 07 in Spa. All of them reving waiting for the start and then blast of in a big roar!!! Great stuff!!
You are right, the bike has 4 exhaust pipes. But it sounds to me like a three cylinder! Well, I am not a specialist of vintage bikes, I might be wrong on the noise.
Hi Guys, nice vid, only I don't think this is an MV4, the MV500 3 only has 1 exhaust pipe on the right side and on this vid you clearly can see 2 on the right and also 2 on the left. Watch "Spa francorchamps avec Ago" where he rides the MV 500 3 (only 1 exhaust on the right)BTW bikers classic is a great event where you can approach these great pilots
Thanks for the information.
The current MotoGP have a superb gorgeous 4-stroke sound, let's hope they don't get replaced by insipid electric motorbikes in the next years....

If this can be useful
500cc class have yellow round plates with black numbers
350cc class have blue plate with white numbers
MV Agusta 3 cylinders have 2 exhausts on the left side and 1 on the right side
MV Agusta 4 cylinders have 2 exhausts on each side
I was attending GP races in the early 70 's
Jarno was THE BEST

I wonder why my previous comment was refused!!
this is a MV 500 4 cylinder not the MV 500 3
the MV 3 only has 1 exhaust pipe on left hand, the one on the vid has 2 on both sides
Nice vid though
