~I got a 92 saturn sl1 and itz stuck @ 43,150 miles. I know datz a lie. I just got it and the person b4 me had it for 5 years. N a previous owner b4 dat. I like it doe. Runs better then these other 90s pieces of shit I c rollin around. I wish It waz a twin cam stick shift tho. Im lookin to mod it.~
The ignition switches on Saturn's will chew down the key over time. Insert and remove key slowly in the ignition switch. Never jam into, or snatch out the key from the ignition switch. Your key will last longer for it .
Oh also when i got this car i got it with 36,000 miles around 2001 and still running strong...I will keep it, it's not my primary car in the house, I drive a land rover discovery 2004 a land rover series 2A 88" 1971, chevy cargo van 96...
Hi there!!! i have a 1996 saturn sl1 single cam, everything work good and i got like 178000 on the odometer, always use syntetic oil and knn oil filter, always do the oil change around 15000 miles bcz it's syntetic, also have a 75shoot of nitros for about 2 year now, the car runs very strong and very very reliable and i'm not talking crap it's true, the whole true about it is to always service your car at all time thats all....
I've got a 1992 Saturn SL. It's gray, and it's a 5spd. Put over 10k into it, and there is still things wrong with it. Everything under the hood is new. The radiator fan sticks, and the engine meter wants to keep going into the red. Idle, it will go to the red. The gas gage wants to go from 1/2 a tank to empty. It's got a busted speaker, the drivers side window won't roll down, the drivers seat is broke. When I start it, it sputters. The back seat mysteriously gets wet. may sell it for $1,500
I got a 1991 SL1 that stopped reading miles at 156,000 I drove it for like 4 years so I say its got over 200,000 poor old thing finally died smokes bad and over heats.

Man and I thought that my saturn was messed up. The only thing wrong with mine is that the power locks and the gas gauge doesn't work.

I love the original (91-95) first gen sedans and wagons. I too like the blue, and the blue interior that was rare was awesome.
