@orlokc1 The Perforator is a unique Infiltrator. It does more damage per shot, has a higher DPS, critical chance, critical damage, but a higher AP cost and significantly less durability. The biggest differences are the reduced rate of fire; the Perforator fires 2 shots for every 3 shots that the Infiltrator can fire and the reduced spread (which makes the rifle functionally more accurate over a longer distance).

I prefer the perforator over the xuanlong. Its accurate and has a scope, but doesnt have as much firepower. Thats not a problem for me, i prefer to play with some trigger discipline and precision.

Since I'm a man of stealth I would always have my chinese stealth suit on and be like capping bitching Reavers in the face while still invisible. @heavyblood228 xuanlong assault rifle is better in damage immensly. Though the perfector has no recoil, 100% sneak leveled so you'll never get detected when shooting it and has a huge range.

The Infiltrator is also unique, Theres only 5 of them in the game. Just that the Perforator is better in stats. and there is only 1 Perforator

@vikngwill ol' painless is the unique hunting rifle you get fromm dave in the republic of dave in the north east of the map. for skillsi tend to do guns, repair, and medicene at the start and then move on to sneak and lockpick. after i work on science, barter, and other combat skill

I really wish there were more diverse assault rifles in the game. I don't have any DLC's other than Broken Steel, but this Perforator looks badass. The only scoped weapons I can think of off the top of my head are the scoped .44 magnum (replaced by Lincoln's Repeater) and my Reservist's (sniper) Rifle.

Perforator looks a bit like an SMG, I love it, but I have the feeling that it would be a bit wanky to aim with in real life. Than again I'm more used to weapons with stocks on it, makes it a hell of a lot easier to aim.

Actually the Perforator is better than the Infiltrator in every way except for the rate of fire (i think).

But if you add the RoF and damage together and infiltrator has a slightly better dps.

Though most people would still prefer the perforator becoz of the spread

i hate fallout new vegas fallout 3 is better they made all the great guns from fallout 3 to be really gay in fallout new vegas like the tesla cannon was really great in fallout 3 only using one energy cell so it was really conservative now in fallout new vegas it takes up 40 of those fallout new vegas turned all the good stuff in fallout 3 and made it sour even the perks how you can only get it on even numbers is gay Obsidian needs to fix all that

I use the Perforator in tandem with the Victory Rifle, a silenced 10 mm, Dart Gun, Stabhappy, and the Chinese Stealth Armor to have mgs/splinter cell-like fun/speed runs where raiders, talon company mercs, or super mutants respawn. (Fairfax Ruins, Evergreen Mills, Vault 87, etc.)

If you don't have good repair skill and want to keep your weapons in good shape, you can also invest 700 caps in Crazy Wolfgang, then he can repair your stuff to 85% but its pretty expensive

@NickyAmerica The XuanLong Assault Rifle (probably spelled that wrong) Its a unique Chinese Assault Rifle, that doesn't like 20 more damage than the regular one...Its really easy to get, it will take like 10 minutes or less, look it up, I think theres a vid on how to get it on youtube.

Yeah, I heard it does 14 or so damage per shot, untlike the perforator which only does 10.

The xuanlong has a higher magazine cap, but the Perforator reloads faster

Chinese assault rifles are less durable and more scarce

Perforator is probably the least durable out of all the assault rifles, but Assault Rifles are pretty common.

@norchris629 dude, get some rep skills to 100 maxxed and you'll never have problems in F3.. repairing "nearly" broken weapons can bring you a lot of money, and it also can save the costs from the NPCs who can just fix your gear to 55% (max. i think)

Lockpicking -> Science-Shit -> Repairing -> Medicine -> rest of the Extras... <3
