  • is that all you fucking good at ? just patting on her head, go fucking fake angry house cat voice and see what it does to you

  • Cheetah can be a dangerous animal but they have been domesticated since the time of the 1700ad they show them being given as gifts egyptians used them to hunt and Persians Genghis Kahn was said to keep hundreds it's probably why so many in the wild today are so comfortable around humans years ago you would see them approach camera men on national geographic the San tribe of south Africa walk along side and hunt with the cheetah

  • they purr like crazy !!!

  • the cheetah is just like awwwwww yeeeee....

  • i always wanted ah cheetah as ah pet

  • Damn they pur loud.

  • The Cheetah pures like a huge domestic cat! lmao! haha

  • whoever that is bent over at the beginning has a nice ass

  • lol

  • @tariqziyad perv

  • this is why people get hurt by wild animals...

  • actually getting attacked by a cheetah in the wild is very unlikely people have even been able to domesticate some.

  • yeah they think the cat was purring or some shit; when the cat moves its tail up that means war is on in T minus 5 seconds; i bet the rest of the video shows that second fatass lady getting torn apart limb from limb blood and gore fatality mortal KOMBAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Exactly. And because they share hunting territories with other big cat predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas, they're in a very tricky position. Cheetahs are weaker than all three of the dangerous hunters I just listed, much weaker. In fact, a hyena has stronger jaws that lion - even a full grown male cheetah wouldn't stand a chance against a hyena face to face. Sorry if I was a bit harsh, but I hope what I said helped a bit. Thanks.

    -Sayomi

  • **has stronger jaws than a lion**

  • But cheetahs are the most dangerous hunters having the best kill rate of any of them. Nearly a 50% kill rate. They are not weak. They're strengths are just in other areas. Because lions, leopards and hyenas have lower kill rates you wouldn't say they're weaker. Cheetahs also only like fresh kills. A hyena will scavenge.

  • Well, from YOUR fluid use of cussing, I assumed you were older...which isn't a good thing DO NOT CUSS YOU'RE ONLY THIRTEEN. -pottcallingkettleblack- Anyways. Sorry - I didn't know you were so young. So. My point basically is that animals in the wild, especially endangered, vulnerable species like the cheetah need to be disassociated with humans as much as possible - humans are what almost destroyed their species. They need space to regrow their population ....[continued]

  • So I guess socializing them will make them less independent. Makes sense.

  • And to do that they need as little human interference as possible. Despite how 'nice' the cheetah seemed when it was pet by the enthusiastic yet ignorant people on the camera, it is still a wild animal and they cannot EVER become dependent on humans for anything, or there chances of survival in the tough African plains will be nearly zero. Cheetahs are the under-dogs in the big cat world, did you know that?

  • If you saw a wolf while vacationing in a National Park, would you throw it a piece of meat and coo at it like you would a puppy? Of course not. A grizzly? Definitely not. Same thing with a cheetah. Respecting it means respecting it as a magnificent predator in the WILD, away from contact with humans - that is its best chance of survival.

  • Ok, I understand now. Watch, but not touch wild animals. Thanks.

  • No problem. :] Thanks for listening.

  • Yeah, smalest "big" cat. 100-140 lbs.

  • Cheetahs are one of the most docile cats there are smartass, the meanest is the leopard or something like that.

  • They could be a home cat , for rich people

  • aaahhh cute

  • CRAZY white people....mmm...mmm...mmm

  • God I can't believe your guides let you touch that cheetah. I agree with "bathrooman": when a cat flicks its tail back and forth like that, it's getting irritated. You're lucky it didn't turn on you. Cheetahs are beautiful and magnificent animals, but they are also wild animals and are to be respected as such, meaning that you shouldn't have touched it. God, you're probably from the midwest of America. Figures.

  • It was purring moron, it's HAPPY! If it was agressive it would have attacked instantly.

  • Bottom line is, it doesn't matter if it was 'happy' or pissed - what matters is that they ARE wild animals regardless of how 'cute' they are and should be LEFT ALONE. People who mess around with nature are like those idiots who leave trash around and feed the animals in wild animal parks. Go to the zoo and and make silly faces at a gorilla -- I hope it escapes and attacks you for your ignorance. Good day.

  • But the Cheetah liked it. Now you say its bad to make wild animals happy!?

  • You are such a dumbass. That's not the point. It's a wild animal - we should observe but not interfere - that is how you respect nature. Interfering with the natural order of things in the wild is violating it and disrespecting it.

  • Whats wrong with petting a wild animal? Are we hurting the cheetah? No. We are making it happy. Whats wrong with interfering if it causes no harm. "Violating and disrespecting" MY ASS!

  • That was just...so weak. Your ass nothing, you moron. If you don't get my point by now, you're screwed up seriously when it comes to wildlife. Has it been what...ten years since you took Biology...if you took it all, that is. This conversation is over - I refuse to banter with a narrow minded dumbass like you any longer.

  • Horray for name calling! :D I'm only 13. "Has it been what...ten years since you took Biology" Uhh, maybe its been negative two years since i took biology. So, just explain how this is harming the cat! Just an explanation would be nice.

  • Not surprising. Cheetahs are the least aggressive of the big cats and can actually be domesticated. It was once a popular exotic pet among rich people a long time ago. It's large size, endangered species status and specialized care make it next to impossible to have one these days though.

  • they were at one point domesticated by the egyptians

  • Hes definitely purring. For him to be allowing everyone to touch him means he was obviously very well socialized when he was young. He is a beautiful animal and you two gals are so lucky!

  • usaly when a cat moves its tail it means they are getting pissed off. that probrobly not a purr that was probrobly a warning growl

  • it means there content

next time engage brain before posting

  • sorry i did not know that smartass

  • Sorry if I can't tell, but was the cheetah purring?

  • Yes it was
