@Nightfox00rougehero yeah, max literally had the crap scared out of him. my aunt has a cat with some siamese in her and a gray and white one. the gray and white one goes to the bathroom in the vet's office, too. i don't think he acts like this, though.  the part-siamese one got mad the last time she had to go, like she hid from my aunt a few days later.

My cat does the same thing at the vet and hates everyone on the planet except me. She's as docile and sweet as can be with me. I wish there was a way to calm her. Everyone has always been nice to her since she was born. She's only been spoiled with toys, attention, and affection. She's just got major cattitude. She's a big cat too. 15.5 lbs of pissed off fur, teeth, claws, and muscle. I feel bad for the vet when I take her in.

@the8to5exodus xD I hear ya. A sedative would do him good---or anesthesia, so he wouldn't feel anything. Some animals don't like going to the vet, and there may not be a reason why. The vet is being very nice to him, trying to comfort him, but it doesn't seem to work.

Sumtimes they HAVE to do that. It's not cruel. Sumtimes they need to use the net to keep the cat from injuring not only them (the vet, assistant, etc.) but also the cat himself. Also it's to keep the cat from running away and getting lost.

Some cats just REALLY hate going to the vet.

Now our cat Eartha would struggle when we put her in her carrier. She dredded going to the vet, BIG time. But when she was on the table being examined by the vet, she was the sweetest ANGEL!

My cat get's more upset than angry when she's at the vet. The only time she really flipped out was when she had to get a rectal exam because when she was peeing and pooing there was blood all over it. So she had to get the finger up the butt, which she never had before, and she went beserk. I still don't think they've got a new desk to replace the one with all those scratches, LOL!
