just use the magnetic lasso with a feather of 3 or so, select the hair and change the color using hue/saturation or varations! its way easier!

It seems you guys don't know the simpler tool ever used in photoshop. It is called "Ctrl+U" . You select the area of the hair, press ctrl+U and change it to your desires, after that, go to adjustments and do whatever you like.

He changed the Hue and Saturation! There is nothing hard about that at all! I would maybe give him some more respect if he actually used photoshop properly and digitally enhanced a picture! As for now he would be better off with MS Paint. Could maybe stretch to Paintshop Pro!

No its actually a more complicated way to change the hue/saturation! You would have been quicker using the lassoo tool or creating a new layer and setting the mode to colourise and selecting the colour you wanted! You would get exactly the same results in half the time!

This tutorial is useful, but about black hair (which is way harder) if you look for the user ranash1995 he has a pretty good explanation about how to do this with blacks. You need to create a curves layer to control the deep shadows.

u just have to change the colour...when he/she pulled up the hue/saturate box. Fool around with it until u find the right colour u want! ;) Then do the rest this person did in this...tutorial thing.

That technique doesn't really work well with dark hair though... The most you'll get is a slight tint. But it's great for blondes...

inverse and sen copy and aste it ( so it paste sit in a new layer ) and then just go image->adjustments->hue/satura­tion and then you can choose the color
