Heres the problem though. He changed his religious beliefs when he died and embraced the christian God, which means that he had to have repented of his former life and revoked his warlord leadership. He spoke highly of Theodore Rosevelt and commented that he must have been wise to be able to lead so many people and prayed to God for his leading hand in the white house. He let it go. You need to let go of the pain your people suffered. Remember, yes, but do not seek revenge. Geronimo would frown.

And I think in many ways he did the right thing, he took up arms to protect his people. But he did it for revenge, and that is wrong. What he did was right, but his motives were wrong. And I think in many ways he did the right thing, he took up arms to protect his people. But he did it for revenge, and that is wrong. What he did was right, but his motives were wrong. He was reasonable, but harbored an undying hatred towards the mexicans. The only reason he fought us cavalry was because of their treaty with Mexico.
