Athlete? Pryor hands down. Just see the 4.38 40 yard dash and the basketball highlights. Pryor also can throw the ball about 70 yards, his arm is every bit as strong as Newton's. Newton is a bit more advanced/polished as a passer at this point in their careers though. Both have a ton of potential. I like Pryor better because he has 3 bowl victories, always steps up in the big games. Newton looked shaky in the national championship, look what Pryor did to Oregon in the Rose Bowl last year.
7 on the Wonderlic test is god awful. He may not be the sharpest pencil in the box. However, he is an incredible athlete, and the kid plays his heart out.

I can imagine Pryor hitting Ford time and time again for the next dozen years as each builds their Hall Of Fame credentials. The Raiders are going to be the most explosive team in football by the middle of next season. Pryor may get a chance to make good on that vow.
John Clayton of ESPN reports that the Raiders are more interested in using Pryor as a receiver than as a quarterback.

Heyward Bey is still developing, just as the other recievers fromt that draft our (note that Crabtree and Maclin have not been pro-bowlers either) Nnamdi and Darren Mcfadden have been great. Rolando Mcclain did fantastic for a starting MLB in his rookie year. Other than the POS Russel, the draft has not been a problem. You assume Pryor will suck why? Because your just a hater.

If you watched him against the Colts you can see that he was very comfortable, he made smart passes, didn't force things and took what the defense gave him. That's what Shanahan's offense is all about. I wouldn't expect you to understand this because clearly you have no knowledge of football. The Raiders have been the worse team in the NFL since Rich Gannon left LOL!

Pryor is 6'6'', can throw a nice deep ball,great runnerl, showed he could handle things in a premier college conference, was the no. 1 QB out of high school. Clearly he is talented and the raiders have no long term QB. Best case hes Vick, worst hes Vince Young - I have no problem with giving up just a 3rd to find out when we have a lot of 4th round picks and no future QB
