I'm reading A Descent Into Hell for my Criminal Science project. This case is awful. Colton was obsessed with Jennifer and got her into heavy drugs. She was too nice of a person to cut all ties with him when she finally got her life back together and he killed her the day she was finally gonna turn herself around. Reading this part in the book made me cry
I will never forget this ever. Not only was she my friend, but it happened on my birthday. Ugh seeing his face when I testified in his trial was probably the worst momment of my life. I wanted to kill him.
WE GET CALLS LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME, WHEN SOMEONE CALLS FROM A CELL PHONE ON OUR MAPS ITS ONLY GIVES US A CELL PHONE TOWER WHICH IS A (PHASE 1) THAN WE DOUBLE CLICK WHICH IS A (PHASE 2) AND THAT ONLY GIVES US A CROSS STREET SO THATS WHY WE ASK FOR AN ADDRESS OR BLOCK NUMBER ETC. JUST AN F.Y.I IN CASE SOMETHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THAT INFO FOR THE 911 CALL TAKERS =)
If my memory is correct, Jennifer Cave was a student at UT Austin. She was murdered by a boyfriend in his apartment. He shot her, put her in the bathtub, and dismembered her.The 911 operator kept insisting on getting the address since if a 911 call originates from a cell phone no address is associated with the number like a hardwired phone is. The man speaking is not the father, but the mother's friend - they went looking for her daughter. The girl was beyond CPR - her head was cut off.

I do believe the mom gave the address at the beginning of the phone call. Why did the operator keep asking?

@jaxotto2 I'm convinced those 911 operators have the IQ of a bug.

I don't understand don't 911 dispatchers has the tech to determine where the phone call is being held?
And this happened so long ago why are they releasing it now? Damn i don't understand but the male voice person is so fucked up.
He didnt try to at least check if she was alive or not or at least check her vital signs.
Shit is so fucked up.

A crazy person tells no lies;
projecting what they feel inside.
A crazy person can't be blamed;
for those they curse, or hurt, or maim.
A crazy person can't be told;
if they're a child or grown old.
A crazy person makes us see;
that crazy person,
