It may be difficult for the lay people to understand how the force can be released through very little contact using correct skeletal structure and mental techniques. Most people can only perceive limbs that travel in the air and impact the opponent to create a release. Perception is deceiving!

A good martial art is defined as the kind that is efficient and effective, and the practitioner should have good control. Aggressive movements only indicate a lack of control, or being inefficient and ineffective. Unless the art is emphasized in external conditioning or being sporty, raising too much power, overly speeding up, or being aggressive in interaction may be unnecessary, and it may not always work. The best is to place the right amount of energy at the right place at the right time.

It was just a demo to show how to transfer and release energy from within.

By the way, I've done what you are doing in this video. It does one thing, it pumps up the ego of the teacher. It is pretty easy to do, but it is also extremely easy to defend against. Even slow progress students can be taught how to make this ineffective after at most two lessons. A teacher that continues to do this to his students without showing the defense is pitiful and only thinking about his ego.
