@DJDrOWNZ Previous owner took the stripes off and I like it as it doesn't get so much attention from the cops.. white wheels look good but I had to go black.. literally cleaning them every drive! lol

@Evo6point5 how can you tell if an evo 6.5 is original? ive found a white in my country but not stripes. but besides that everything looks T.M edition original from the red and black t.m recaro interior and white enkei wheels and the code TM stamp on the back.. Only the red came with stripes on? besides the rs gearbox TM is wearing is there any other spec difference or bigger horse power from the gsr evo 6? thanks

@mylegend The Australian delivered models are all RSII's and have the black handles, no climate control and no rear wiper as opposed to the JDM models

what respray colour did you use? It is clearly not the standard red with tomi maks, really awesome bright red. I have silver E5, you can check my vids also no the dyno. I have currently team dynamics 1.2 for winther, similar to yours. but without the red line aroud. Are those aldo TD?

@stingray460 Hi mate, it is indeed the standard "Passion red", just looks particularly bright in this video and has been kept out of the sun mostly. If I ever get it resprayed I'd like to go a brighter red though. The rims are Rays SE37's but I'm now running black evo 8 enkeis.

Power FC boost controller?

@glanzbo Yep, there's an optional module which you can get so that the power fc controls boost.. it's known to be unreliable though apparently so now has an HKS EVC5 and runs much better

yes, evo VI TME only available in Kilometers and RHD, unless someone customized it to LHD, but all from factory come RHD

I was very tempted to buy one this summer, but I would had to lose my bike at same time so I just skipped it. Maybe in a couple years when I can afford to keep a car and bike, I try to get older evo. 6 or 5.

Yeah the TE37's are popular.. the SE's are lighter though :)

I'm biased but the 6's have always been my favourite.. at the track the 6's, 7's, 8's and 9's seem pretty much the same speed.. it's more the driver that makes the difference

Was hitting boost cut with the power fc boost controller which apparently are notorious for playing up and not holding boost so have replaced it with an HKS EVC5. It's not the d jetro, just the normal version

how much hp is without the fuel cut and al the rpm band?? i`ve never dynoed mine it has apexi power fc d jetro hks 272`s 3" inch exaust k&n air filter walbro 255 and 580cc injectors. and 21 pouds of boost is near 1.35 kg. thanks

Evo5 only has one rear spoiler blade.. as you can see.. that's an evo 6 spoiler.. Up until recently you couldn't even buy Evo 5's in Australia.. this is an Australian sold Evo 6.. was purchased new in 2001 by the previous owner
