  • can anyone please tell me what food i should give my lovebirds when theyre 4 weeks old

  • @superchenar1 any baby parrot formula in a pet store could do, I use exact hand feeding formula, because it is easier to conver them later to the exact pellet food when they get to the right age

  • @Darkraht You could do it, but is going to be very hard since the chicks are still to fragile and require more food servings, a good age to start hand feeding them is when they are from three to four weeks old

  • my two lovebirds(black faced w/green body) had only one egg so when it hatches, i dont know what to do.

  • Go to our blog.

  • is it ok to feed the baby bird with human baby food ? like the ones you mix with water and become thick. thats what ma friend did and it worked. i just wanted to know if its ok

  • No, it's not safe. Anything with milk can hurt or even kill the baby because they can not digest it. Your friend was lucky. The best is Roudybush handfeeding formula. You can get it here trueloveaviarydotcom/rohafo5lbdothtml or just go to trueloveaviarydotcom and look in our breeding supplies.

  • did u feed the 3 week old ? LOL

  • they are sooooooooooooo hungry

  • Hi, plz get back to me fast!

My babies are about 5 weeks now, and still on 4 feedings a day, 6am, 12pm, 6pm and 10pm, is this ok? They won't eat nutriberries or millet unless i feed it to them by hand. They have a dish in their brooder, would going down to 3 feedings, 6am, 2pm and 8m, be ok? Would it encourage them if theyw ere hungry to eat on their own? Thanks!

  • All your answers can be found on our blog: trueloveaviarydotblogspotdotcom just scroll down.

  • hi what do you feed them???

do you have any home made recipes for your chicks..

pls share it to the people who adore what you are doing... thanks...

  • Just google it. I am sure they can send it to you.

  • thx

  • OMG I KNOW.

    their like

    "MAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMAMA"

its so hilarious but budgies are so cute.

i own two budgies called valentine and cupid =P

  • Cos of these two devotd people I have now raised 4 baby lovebirds. I neva get tired of watching their vids. God bless...

  • Wich type of roudybush do you use?Somebody haves an Cockatiel and it needs to be hand feed too.If you can recommend a type of roudybush for it i will be very happy!Thank you!

  • I have one of those containers for my cockatiel babies. The noise they make: MUM MUM MUM MUMMY MUMMY MUMMY MOM MOM MOM! LOL

  • They are all sooooo cute when they are begging for food!

alll of them chasing your hand that is the cutest thing i've ever seen!

  • Weaning means he eats totally on his own. If he is then you do not have to hand feed him. Put him in his own cage, the parents are telling him to go. Blood washes off so do it lightly with warm, not hot water. If you can not afford a vet, then you should not be breeding.

  • Hahaha! They're so funny looking when they're babies, how come Pixie is much younger than the others?

  • Because he was born later.

  • just curious. What are you feeding them? They're so cute.

  • Roudybush

  • super cute i can c y ur lovebirds r so nice

  • Hiya just wondering how many ccs do you feed them and how often at this age?

  • Why do you push the syringe so quickly?

  • The babies control the tempo.

  • what type of hand-feeding formula do you use?

  • Roudybush

  • very nice...not to be negative but do u ever loose any young babies?

  • Very, very rarely, but it does happen when they do not absorb the yoke sack when they are less than a week old. There is nothing that can be done to prevent that.

    ~Rodney

  • They're sooooo lovely!

  • oi stop biting ur brother and sisters! u'll all get a share!

  • Do u sell them???

  • There so hungry! lol! Vary cute baby's!

  • sono bellissimi...

  • I've never seen baby birds being hand fed;

    this was quite interesting.

  • Hi guys i really want a young lovebird, do pet stores sell baby lovebirds? if not were can i get one? =] Thanks~ Adrian

  • im going to buy 2 lovebirds next week :D can't wait :P

  • So lovely birds

  • how do you adopt one?

please i want one so bad

  • email us at trueloveaviaryatgmaildotcom

  • they're still asking for food. is that normal? why don't you feed them until they're stuffed?

if that's not good, how do you know how much to feed them?

    thank you

  • They were full with the baby food. Then, we placed them in their brooder and they pigged out on big bird food.

    ~Rodney

  • do you feed all the candy babies at the same time, or do you feed pixy more times than the rest of the older babies?

  • All at the same time.

  • They are so nice. But a bit too loud :D But they look lovely. Especially that little one. ;)

  • Another great video of your lovies.

  • How come Pixie is so much younger? They're all adorable, do you handfeed all your babies?

  • My 27 day old lovebird, Peppa looks like his dad. Green with a red neck. I have been doing the big bird food & its going really well. He even tries to feed some to me. But he never makes this much noise to be fed. Maybe because there is no competition. I sent u a pic but it was returned.

  • how could you tell them apart? you are really good.

i have lovebirds at home too, and they had babies a several times. They usu. have 4-5 babies, around 3 dutch blues, a seagreen and a slate. I can never tell with dutch blue is which.

    Do you have any tricks?

  • omg dont they drive you crazy man i would die if a ihad to feed all those bird btw i love your videos and your BIrd!!!!

  • Oh they are cuties! You are so lucky your babies all seem beautiful & healthy. So many! ohhhh!

  • *are O:

  • haha they attack the seringe [i forgot how to spell that o__O] for food =] birds is cool xD

  • It seems to us that ALL types of baby birds who get fed by their parents have the SAME begging posture: we see it in our garden all the time with all kinds of species, and the posture is the same as that exhibited here (VERY cute). Have you noticed that?

  • You are correct!

  • I'd never be able to keep track of all the names. They're adorable. : )

  • How in the world do you manage? XD

    They are soo cute!

  • You are so good with birds. It's just charming to watch!

  • u guys r lucky
