There's a place here in Tampa, Florida called MOSI (Museum Of Science & Industry) that is like a hands on science museum for kids. It has things that range from a wind tunnel that simulates Cat. 1 Hurricane winds to explaining how hearing works. It's really fun if you have the chance to see it.
Because of this video I drove 5hrs with my brother from Chicago to St Louis to visit this museum. It was totes worth it! Most fun I've had in my life! Being 25, I haven't been allowed to climb through things like this in years! Thank you so much for this video Andrew!
wow. that looked like a blast! it has inspired me to revisit the children's science museum and the liberty science museum, both not quite as epic as this, but still pretty darn fun!
I want to go to this place! If you're ever in Seattle check out the Experience Music Project/Sci-Fi Museum (EMP/SFM) There's lots of fun stuff in there!
Living in St. Louis, I love the City Museum and have been there many times. Somehow, you guys found stuff I've never seen there. Also, Andrew, I get scared all the time on the contraptions there, like the arch way to get to the airplane... imagine that full of kids... happens all the time. And you guys were crawling through spaces I can't get through... how? cuz i"m not fat...
Andrew, ahhh! I'm so glad you found this place. I hope it made your stay in STL the ultimate! Umich MT Class 13 is hitting up the City Museum during Muny Auditions!
I live in Pittsburgh and the Carnegie Science Center is an awesome place to explore! Too bad Poppins isn't coming to Pittsburgh....(I'm not bitter or anything)
That places looks intense! I wish it were near where I live. I live in possibly the most boring place in the country (though I live but a train ride away from both NY and Boston, so it all works out in the end). I love museums and I gotta say my favorites are actually the Smithsonian American History & Air and Space museums in DC and the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park.
When coming to San Francisco the new Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park is totally kewl. It is a NAtural History Museum, Aquarium and Planetarium all in one. The new space has a living roof, a rain forest room and all sorts of fun stuff... The Diarammas from the original building are refurbished and put back in and 90% of the old building was recycled to build the new on in the same place...AWESOME fun...
basically the entire city of San Diego. there is the most haunted house in America there! the Waley house. (i would check on the spelling). its pretty cool!
Very cool and fun video!!! I think I'll plan a family vacation with a stop in St. Louis. I have to tell you this is one of the best vids. The museum should pay you for awesome advertisement!!!
I've been wasting my whole day working on summer work for school, and this totally brightened my day! I was laughing so hard! Thank you so much AKB and the cast of Mary Poppins for making my day! :)
the franklin institute in philadelphia never gets old for me, and i've been living here for 8 years now. also the philadelphia art museum is kind of a little amazing, too. :)
I hope this museum has really good insurance....I could see them having a lot of injuries per year.....looks pretty darn neat though, despite that fact.
That looks like so much fun.
