  • grandissimi tra i piu grandi del glam inglese ,ovviamente ho tutti i loro dischi in cd

  • I liked. 100 likes now. ;)

  • This takes me back to the 70,s

  • miming at its very best, lol

  • This was my favourite group as a kid. I LOVED THE SINGLES but, looking back they did a ton of self-written good album tracks, also.

Last night I was listening to Sweet Fanny Adams: some of it is a little too Uriah Heepish in sound but most of it is top stuff.

  • Great song and vid!

  • it takes me back, way back, way back to where I would like to be now, those were the days, miss'em :)

  • @jakespa61 Totally. Ballroom nights...dancing so hard we couldn't even get drunk!!!

  • Brilliant sound quality on this upload.

  • Then those NAZI symbols still had something funny...

  • his blonde hair is better than any womens

  • Jean Genie

  • @H4rryF Doesn't antimatter..this riff was already used by The Yardbirds' I'm A Man"in '65. And probably way before, by 50's rock'n'rollers.

  • they should bring top of the pops back i was 4 when this came out lol

  • Great Hit Love It!

  • there are 2 morons that didn't like this

  • The first song that I knew of SWEET. Steve is very funny

  • brian sneaks in a nazi salute at 1.28.

  • @moonsault25061Hi there i saw the salute......do you think he was trying to tell us something?

  • STEVE PRIEST IS A FUCKING GOD :o)

  • This brings back so many memories! TOTP was a real event in those days thanks to bands like Sweet. I was 10 when this came out and seeing it again it's still just as fresh. I know I'm getting old, but I can't see many of the current offerings standing up to scrutiny 3 or 4 decades later!

  • thesweet(dot)com

Andy Scott, original guitarist with a new line up is very close to seeing them as they would have been in the 70s

  • If only that were true.

  • If you have seen them then thats your view.

If you havent believe me i feel his lineup re creates 70s Sweet very good.

  • @Urko2005I've never seen them. I've heard that Peter Lincoln is very good, but he spent so many years as lead singer of Sailor, I just want to hear him sing girls, girls, girls or glass of champagne.

If I did go and see them, I might really enjoy it and prove myself wrong, who knows.

  • @TWENTIETHCENTURYBABY :p, saw Sailor with some other glam rock groups at our local hall here in Truro England a while back.

Its great to hear them do the tunes live when i was only about 12/13 when they were originally in the charts.

  • Was that with Peter or Oliver? I like Oliver Marsh, good replacement for Peter.

  • @TWENTIETHCENTURYBABY was about 5 odd years back , so probably was Peter but im not sure of the dat , was a few years ago.

  • They are just awesome. Everything they did was amazing. They definitely deserve more credit... I wish bands like this existed, now.

  • God bless the seventies

  • No matter what the young Generation Say

NO Music of today can touch the GREAT MUSIC OF THE 70S AND BEYOND i feel so sorry for the young today especially when they have to listen to shite like Girl/Boy bands and those idiots known as jedward

  • I feel sorry for myself too :(

  • Alot of young people would agree music used to be alot better..

  • All Top of the pops shows were lipsynched

  • REALLY?????????

  • Yes.

  • No one didn't on TOTP.

  • What kind of grown man calls himself "dick" as a youtube name. You cunt, these guys are talented as fuck!

  • This proves that there was a nazi-bassist before Interpol's Carlos D. ... So nice to see this video again!

  • Oh! I want Steve's pickelhaube! :D

  • Lol no other band can imitate their voices :P and I love alll of their outfits, and such a splendid song!

  • good posting,post more please.

  • the hitler-y man woman thing...the bassist kind alooks like my friends mom, with boot polish on her face

  • omg !!! Just love this song and this Group!!! I was In Germany at this time in the 70s' ....what a classic !!! thanx for posting >Lyndloo..

  • Steve priest was as camp as a row of tents back then! Hilarious!

  • how many hitlers have you seen in platforms

  • we need more dammit! lmao

  • @catz72396 who knows what went on in that bunker.

  • @catz72396 no 1

    it s Swastika .

    Slava Swastika !

  • @catz72396 Three.

  • It's funny that it seemed that Steve never gave a shit about anything (except the music of course). Sweet was brilliant ! The fact that this stuff is still catchy after over thirty years is proof how good the Sweet were.

  • Steve still is brilliant and amazing good today!!!

  • I just noticed Andy's third leg - this band brought me joy then and even more now.

  • Where's Steve's moustache at the end?

  • I shudder to think lol

  • I love the tounge in cheek attitude this band had... And Steve Priest's Hitler outfit is hilarious. Sadly, this would be considered totally unacceptable by today's politically correct standards.

I don't want to start a debate on this, but it's a parody plain and simple and anyone who thinks it's glorifying Nazism is over-reacting. Jeezuz! Hitler was a political figure and the swastika was their political symbol.

I was a huge fan as a kid and enjoy seeing these campy old videos!
