can i just ask... is sharm el sheik in egypt which is 5 and a half hours long classed as long haul? and which aircraft are we most likely to go on?

Thomson sometimes uses it's longhaul aircraft for its Egpyt routes BUT Egypt is not classed as a longhaul destination by any UK tour operator.

Depending on aircraft availablity you might fly a 767. You are more likely to fly on a longhaul aircraft with Thomas Cook to Egpyt - as they use there A330 on that routes many times

Oh god they say ooo thomsonfly getting all this great long haul aircrafts an they are fab when really they a robbing it off us. When i say us i mean ***FIRST CHOICE***. lol its true though. All this thomsonfly long haul ideas are first choice's ideas. haha

Ive just heard from A Thomsonfly cabin crew that First Choice and Thomsonfly will start flying as TUI TRAVEL plc from Nov '08. They will become one airline - he thinks it will be 'TUIFLY' and the crew uniforms will be Yellow. First Choice and Thomsonfly will fly under seperate companies and names from now till November 2008.
