  • My favorite part at 2:33, Steve says, "ooh, we got a gear light." Markian: "what? oh...REALLY? This airplane is horrible!" (Referencing the string of instrument/equipment failures that seemed to plague them during their short flight. From memory, vacuum failure, pilot airspeed indicator (co-pilot instrument still working, though), right tachometer failure, nose gear failed to extend (later fixed), and finally, blown left tire. My god, it's almost like _someone_ was messing with 'em on the panel)

  • @coma13794 you forgot the right ENGINE failure too ;)

  • Thanks for the video AJ. Looks like PilotEdge was a big hit at the show.

  • I can field this one. VATSIM is a hobbyist network that provides ATC service across the globe on a volunteer basis. There is no guarantee of ATC presence, or quality. The radio system does not match real world use, and there is no range-limited voice CTAF (at non-towered fields).

PilotEdge is a commercial venture that will provide guaranteed ATC presence, with guaranteed quality, in a high traffic environment. Both of these networks have a place, but they are not, "the same."
