SL takes a virtual imprint of your computer. Your type of ban seems like the Account Ban. Once they hard ban it's usually the whole computer AND IP (and they do IP-Range Bans too). Don't bother using SL's viewer, it's the one that'll get banned faster than the rest (not to mention it's full of big-brother crap). The bans are just to scare people off, and LL enjoys making it hard as poo to get back in unless your technical. People get banned for stupid reasons though.

Once LL bans they usually wipe-out all your accounts, mac ban, ip ban, and hardware ban.

More than likely you won't be able to get your old account, ever. So any items/money you spent on it is repo'ed back to LL and you won't get it back, even if you did buy things. It's a waste.

You can thank all the dominant 40+(and the brainwashed) who treat SL as their personal ware-house for fake businesses who probably compiled their AR's to get you banned for petty nonsense. :)

second life told me I violated their enviroment but it was my brother who griefed when using the same network so my computer get ip banned too!

It allows you to get back into Second Life if you have been banned. It doesn't get your account back. If they have deleted your account make a new one and Hotspot shield. They actually ban a range of IP addresses that your computer has used to access Second Life. Hotspot puts up a fake IP so SL cant track it

There is an esay way to get around SL blocking IP addresses. Simply install and run Hotspot Shield. do a search in google and you will find the download.

sometimes LL will not only IP ban you but a combination of both IP and hardware, so if you can not access second life thats most likely what has happend

ive desprately tried using hotspot shield (doesent work) tried this proxy where you use ctrl shift and g nothing says it cant connect at allto he DNS server, i logged on with anew account i made and i could log back on for two days and now i cant get back on at all saying im IP banned again

i got banned/ there are some other ways you can get past their blocks,this thing called hotspot usually works but if not its better to just fill out a ticket//depending on why you got banned you ight have to send them you Birth certificate//some1 lied about me and repoted me just cause they are a crybaby xD
