  • How do you delete a track you no longer want to use

  • End of Part 2 and you still haven't recorded anything, you are scaring me off of one of these.

  • you cant record more than 4 tracks right? i know theres the v tracks, but once done theres no more than 4 different tracks that can be used?

  • @crossingourfingers You are correct that only the 4 selected tracks can be played/exported at one time. However, by recording 4, bouncing the 4 down to 2, then layering 2 more and bouncing back down to 2, etc, you can have infinite layers of instruments.

  • you should make a video on exporting

  • @ACE9647 Funny thing, I lost my BR. Maybe some frustrated user will sell me one cheap. I do regret not having found the time to make a "mastering" video because that is by far the most common question I get. One suggestion is to google and download the user manual and search that document for mastering. Good luck.

  • Thanks for your answer.i solved this problem by using bounce mode last night

  • i got a problem with my micro br

i can record my gitar on the arrangment and i can listen it

but i can't export the arrangment to mp3 mode

i can just listen my guitar as mp3

i ve been trying to this about 3 days:(

  • @slowhandrichie Sorry for the trouble. I don't have a video showing it, but you need to get into "mastering" mode by pressing the exit+utility buttons to export the song to mp3 or WAV. l describe this in more detail in several comment posts. Good luck.

  • mate you are a legend, Ive owned this for 2-3 years now an haven't learnt to arrange a drum beat till now,( i just recorded to a verse on loop ) thanks heaps

  • "There's all sorts of tasty things that live under that effects button right there". Hahaha.. Seriously though.. really good tutorial so far.

  • Thank You

  • is it possible to plug an ipod into the boss micro br and play along a song with a guitar and record the part i played with the guitar?

  • @QotsaFoo not exactly like that, because it won't let you select line-in and guitar as simultaneous inputs. (by the way, you CAN select GTR and built in MIC at the same time.)

However, here's how you can accomplish what you want: you need a mini-plug male to male stereo cable. Connect ipod to LINE-IN with LIN selected on the input page. Set input levels and record the song onto tracks 1&2 (stereo pair). Then rewind, set the input to GTR, and record your part to track 3 or 4. Good luck.

  • @gravelroadmedia i think there is an easier way for my intention: put a song on the micro br and then simply play along and record with the guitar at the same time... do u think this works?

  • @QotsaFoo Good if that works. To transfer a song directly from computer it will need to be an mp3 file, and you'll need to be in mp3 mode to playback on the BR. Can you record a guitar track while playing back in mp3 mode? I doubt it, but let me know if it works.

My earlier answer assumed you wanted to over dub a guitar track using the normal multi-track recording mode.

  • how do you assign specific effects for each individual track after recording all four tracks?

  • @sandeatingcontest see reply at part 5 video. i cant seem to post a link for you.

  • Get all these videos by clicking on the playlist link in the description (top right), or go to my channel and see the micro br playlist.

  • looking forward to part 5 i dont quite get song mode

  • Thanks for the clear presentation.
