@laurasautographs I had mixed results. The first time there was something floating in the water(i think from the pan) and it left spots. The second time looked better.

Thats a good tip to boil the dye. I've used automotive dye for my trucks interior. its been over 8 years and it still looks like new. of course, I didn't have to boil that..
