Yeah I discovered there is actually a boss in the final level. The true final boss is like the end boss of the regular World 7 but Boom Boom now leaves a trail of fire when he spins otherwise it is the same fight as before.

Why is it the true final levels in these Mario games do not have bosses at the end? I was kind of dissapointed when I beat 9-8 in New Super Mario Bros. only to discover a flag and no boss. I wanted if anything in Super Mario 3D Land to fight that little alien dude that kidnapped Daisy in the first Super Mario Land. Like Bowser teamed up with him and he planned everything out. That would have been epic.

@GigaHazard !SPOILERS! 1. I have the game, I have beaten it all the way to S6. After you beat the game, you get a set of special worlds. Beat the S1 Castle (you need alot of star medals) For luigi. Beat it in just under a day. Final area: Bowser Castle Boss: Bowser in a race to the top of the crumbling castle.

There is a special world in this game and it actually has a boss. Remember how in NSMB for the DS Bowser's skin burned off and he became and undead skeleton boss? Guess who the secret boss is. Yep Dry Bowser is back.
