and the remaining is Do'a qunoot. the Prophet [PBUH] read his 3 Witr of Esha with surah A3laa in the first rakah, surah Kafiroon in the second, and Ikhlas in the third and therefore after ikhlas raised his hands and recited Do'a Qunoot.
Thank you very much on that. Can you explain to me whether that dua qunoot is said in times of war? I've have heard there are different types of dua qunoot but this particular one was said during times of war? Would it be necessary for me to recite it during my daily witr prayers? Not war time?
@IQraArts i agree.. but the soothing recitation like this one will melting our heart (hopefully most to the young generation rather than to listen to the other music) example: myself .. starts from the desire of listening to the voice of quran recitation like this one... now never listen to the other music like before... then now i learn to undestand the words of Quran ( tafsir). Allah give them a good voice to recite quran for some reason...
@2010MahaKhan9700 i think he is an imaam because he has lead salah many times but i don't know, he may be the imaam of a local mosque but he is becoming a Sheik. (and already a qari)
@IQraArts thanks for the information!my family n me we really admire his voice and i wanted o see if my dad cud meet him as he went to burminghum some time ago!!but thanks alot!!
Do u know where he is know!!is he still in burminghum!!??my father is going there and he wanted to meet him!!i wish somebody wud tell!!plz!our entire family appreciates Talha bhai much!!God bless him.......even more!!
MASHALLAH!!!......i agree his voice is EXTREMELY good!!and girls shud concentrate both on his voice that is a blessing that melts hearts and calls them to listen to ALLAH's message and also the beautiful message that is being narrated in the heavenly voice!!!i really appreciate is voice!!and i think boys do too just as much as girls!!
MasyaAllah....The Amazing Boy's grown up and he still my favourite murotallist I've ever known, yaaa ALLAH...may YOU give my own birth child as amazing as him, amin......
I knew him when he was about 7, mom told me, he was very amazing. Now he grew up as fast as he did, but he was still amazing.... :'>Alhamdulillah yah, sesuatu...
regardless who recites the Quran... if we hear such sincere and soulful recitation, even though we do not understand the meaning... it could move us to tears, and longing to recite the Quran ourselves...
when he was at Green Lane Masjid this ramadhan, one of the Imaams there said he was 16 when i asked them for an audio of his recitation. but others then said he was 17, very confused but all i know is he was born inn 1994 in Bahrain.
wow there is a drastic change in your voice.. well thats normal and mashallah all your recitation of al Quran is amazing.. May Allah grant you Jannat ul firdous brother :)
@IQraArts i completely agree with your comment but suppose you had an imam that recited beautifully and an imam that did not and you went to hear the better reciter read quran, is it a sin?
@smgdude yes I understand the point you are trying to make, but some people who I personally know have listened to our Brother Junayd with the wrong intensions, at some points I have regretted telling some about his Gift. Especially around my area, girls don't realise what they are saying about the brothers and how that would affect them in the hereafter.
No, I don't believe it's a sin. One thing I've always noticed is that I pay attention to the meaning ALOT more with a beautiful reciter, such as brother Muhammad Taha. As long it helps you focus on and understand the meaning and power of what is being recited, I believe it is okay.
*Note: This is NOT a fatwa, it's only a conclusion I have made due to personal experience. My intention is to stop the confusion and encourage people to reflect on why they are really listening to this
@smgdude I once heard from Brother Fareed of Los Angeles mentioning how Imam Ahmed (rahimahullah) encouraging brothers to stay away from reciters that sing the qur'an. Yet he attended it and cryed while listening to it.
Assalamu Alaikum, It would help me brothers if someone could tell me what that whole Du'a meant and is it good for saying after prayer or anytime rather?
@TusharProductions W Salaam, To answer you're 2nd question inshaAllah, it is usually read after every witr prayer, but dua qunoot could be read in all 5 daily prayers for a specific reason, like the nabi (saw) used to read dua qunoot after every prayer because of a calamity Wallahu Alam. Btw the tajweed for this akhi is just out of this world, i would love to be his student.
Insha'Allah I can pray with him soon biidhnillah and to shake his hands and say to him Jazakallahu khair. From Ismael Ricky Espanol Jeddah KSA Islamic Propagator for Filipinos.
i think he has the most pleasant voice in the world, best of the best….no match to his depth and involvement in what he is saying one can literally feel it!!!!!
@skatetennis123 Yes it is, but now he is older ....i think he was 12 or 13 when he lead the prayer (/watch?v=51SrB5q0UYM&feature=related) and subhanallah he still has the sweetness in his voice although it has broke.
how old is he now? I knw him when he was children, very beatiful voice.
Vote up if you shed tears.

Which surah and verse is he reciting in the beginning anyone know?
marius666 2 months ago
@marius666 0:11 - 0:57 (Faatiha)
1:02 - 2:36 (A3laa - found in Juz'Amma [30])
2:36 - 3:20 (kafiroon - found in Juz'Amma [30])
3:20 - 3:35 (Ikhlas - found in Juz'Amma [30])
and the remaining is Do'a qunoot. the Prophet [PBUH] read his 3 Witr of Esha with surah A3laa in the first rakah, surah Kafiroon in the second, and Ikhlas in the third and therefore after ikhlas raised his hands and recited Do'a Qunoot.

A good recitation may increase one's imaan, and his heart may be softened with it, and by this devotion may increase.
