I've got a blue / White k7. The only thing I like about yours is the licence plate position. No offence but the stickers are a bit passé. I'm rather surprised not to see rim tape and the tyre walls painted white.

Can someone please tell me what that front peg is on the left side of the bike. Not the peg for your foot or the shifter but the one that looks like its connected to the engine. thanks
@VentheSenpai That would be the frame slider and there is one on the other side as well. Helps protect the fairings and engine in the event of a spill. Good cheap investment too considering fairings are dam expensive.
I own and love a cbr 600rr, but I gotta admit that I love the contours and lines on the later gixxers. Pretty much nothing I don't like about your 750. Very sexy color scheme and all. If I ever uprgrade, a gixxer 750 would be a strong contender!
Gorgeous bike dude. I have an 05 750 (similar color scheme), but would some day like to upgrade to the 07, same color. I love the amount of near upgrades there are for bikes. Enjoy the rides!!

hey everyone, i did upgrades -1/+2 on my 04 gixxer 600 and my speedo started being weird. i'd be going 50 mph and it'll read 50 55 50 55 50 55 and it just jumps back and forth, so i went back to stock sprockets hoping that the problem would go away but it didn't PLEASE HELP
@paulwade101 lol have you ever used it cuz i have it on my headers on my truck the silver heat resistance paint and yeah it worked for about 2k miles and its a show truck so i dont drive it often but now its peeling off so that really doesnt work that well! so you should try a product before telling other people how it works!
I've got a K7 750 exactly like this one, same color and everything. It's bone stock at the moment though, I've just put some grips and balancers by Rizoma. A few mods are in store for this year: PC 3, Pazzo levers, Hotbodies MGP pipe, ngk iridium spark plugs and a bmc air filter, a double bubble windscreen is going in as well, not sure which one though. Which one do you have on yours? Ermax, Zero Gravity or Puig?
@TreeK7 beautiful bike, I have an 06, seems almost as fast as the 07cbr1000rr i had that got stolen though the handling on it is no nearly as good to me. All in all a beautiful bike though and very clean
Any reason why you went 5 up in the back?. on my bike i went 2 up in back and 1 down in front. 1 down in front is just about the same as an extra 3 in back. did u do that for like a speedo thing or...
@PETAVER I guess he just wanted to buy one sprocket and not two, but you would have to shorten the wheelbase without a longer chain because 5-up is much larger than stock sprocket. My 636 had a 5-up rear when I bought it. the only reason I can think of, a smaller front sprocket wears the chain out quicker because of the tighter angle the chain makes around the smaller sprocket, plus if you get the same width as stock (525) it would be less work and no new chain.
niceee 750 bro. im about to take my class and get a bike. and idk whether to get a 750 or 1000. the 1000 is only like a grand more so im prolly gonna get that
I hope you're kidding. If you haven't been riding a streetbike, I'd say a 600 is perfect. They go plenty fast and can wheelie quite easily if that's your thing.
depends on your riding skill and personality. if youre a beginner you should take your time (1-2 years) to get experience and 600cc should be more than enough. if its your 1. motorbike and youre an aggressive rider, you should think about not spending all money for the first 1. i was a beginner and bought a gsxr 750 srad (engine not limited)...crashed it 4 month later. ;) on country roads its skill that makes you fast, not 20hp more...
I know the 600 is lighter and has plenty of power for a scrub like me, so I will definitely pick one of those up. I've been saving for over 2 years so I'm not going to take ANY chances- Full gear, right lane behind grandma :)
When I get comfortable I'm sure I'll have fun... in anycase.
I appreciate your insight very much, hopefully i'll be on the road before christmas!
@iqkrono i had to learn that to get the driving license isnt the same as to have the skills to drive a motorcycle sporty. now its 5 years later, i learned a lot and guess my skill is pretty ok now. but i learned something else: when you drive those motorcycles for what theyre built for, its a question of time that you fall! ;)
whats up dudes... one question... i'm 6'0 ft tall.... what cc size do you recommend for me? 750 is ok? cos once i ride a ninja636 and that wasnt funny at all.... i guess that 750 is a bigger bike.... can you help me please?
well physically they're almost exactly the same size... (when it comes to the gsxr 600 & 750)..... im 5'11... and i can ride a 600 just fine.....but it shouldnt matter how tall u are when it comes to choosing engine displacement....they're all quick as hell ...doesnt matter what anyone says.... if u feel like u grow out of it in the future...u can always trade it in and go bigger if u insist.
ooo thank you very much bro... BTW your bike is fuckin gorgeous, ill buy one of those.. the 750 :D.... thanxs bro... whats is the top speed of the 750, with that mods?
Well , if u don't even know what bike to take based on ur height ... for god sake don't take any bike, im sure u suck at it, i don't want u to get hurt.
@reke18 im 6'3" and i ride one.. its not bad but i didnt lower it at all.. it gets a lil cramped but if ure getting a sportbike u dont care about that.. if u do, go get a goldwing or something
@reke18 From what I've seen the older models are more ergonomical for big guys. The lower and further back the footpegs are, the less angle your knees have to be bent. For a big dude i think the '01-'03 year 600's and Busas/ZX11/ZX12/Zx14 are best. But I'm 5'8" 175lbs the only one I wasn't comfortable on is a '07-present 600rr. My best friend is 6'2" 245lbs and is perfectly comfortable on my 636. You must be 350lbs or something.
lol I used to do this exact thing at my storage place. Man I like looking at my bike as much as I like riding it. Imagine if girls were like boys with their stuff and their hobbies. Why don't girls do this kind of thing?
I never run into people who talk so tough on the street but they're everywhere on youtube. They're just shy because they have mincy little faggotty balls. My wife just said that you don't get any sex hahahaha!!! ;) ...Girls don't like your little one-liners? ...don't feel like an interesting guy? ...the world not fair to ya? I know little buddy; we're all in this together though.
Every bike is different... i've known riders as short as 5'0" and riders over 6' tall... so you can be nearly any height in the average range. Also, bikes can be lowered an inch or two if you find one you like that is nearly the right size for ya.
Quick question that anyone who knows can answer.... Are those Vortex swing arm covers? I have been looking everywhere for those and I cant find them, maybe because they are called something else. Can anyone help!?
The jardine sounds the best in videos, but IRL its really really loud and may get annoying. Its essentially the same as a straight pipe without a muffler.
I was trying to figure it out in the video whether you had the long clutch short brake on the pazzos. I just bought a set that way, if yours is set up that way, wondering if you liked it.
Wow

whats up dudes... one question... i'm 6'0 ft tall.... what cc size do you recommend for me? 750 is ok? cos once i ride a ninja636 and that wasnt funny at all.... i guess that 750 is a bigger bike.... can you help me please?
reke18 2 years ago
well physically they're almost exactly the same size...

BTW your bike is fuckin gorgeous, ill buy one of those.. the 750 :D.... thanxs bro... whats is the top speed of the 750, with that mods?

wahthefck 2 years ago

@reke18

@reke18 dude whatever you got the balls to ride.. im 6'2 and got an r1

I know little buddy; we're all in this together though.

how tall do you have to be for a motorcycle ??
afgthug7 2 years ago
Every bike is different... i've known riders as short as 5'0" and riders over 6' tall... so you can be nearly any height in the average range. Also, bikes can be lowered an inch or two if you find one you like that is nearly the right size for ya.

I want a Gixxer, but I am not at the level to really take full advantage of the awesomeness.
