to get psp 3000 you must have a 2000.First go to network update its in settings all the way to the top and you must have at least 26mb to update it ( need memory stick and psp 2000 version 4.01)After the update read what version you have (mines said: your psp version is 5.02) 5.02 is the 3000 series.(i comment this so instead of buying it (becuase its only a white ones for to buy psp 3000 so you may want a piano-black psp 2000 to update.after.(you need at least a MagicGate memory stick&PSP 2000
