Wow not many traders would acknowledge their mistakes. I personally believe that this divides the good traders from the bad since not many bad traders can ever say they were wrong, they blame the market/broker/software but rarely if ever themselves.
Thank you for acknowledging that. I always stick to my guns and own up to any trade recommendations, good or bad. You are correct about the majority of traders/analysts out there who will not take responsibility for a bad call. I view this in one simple way. THE MARKETS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT! We are the ones as traders who might get it wrong.
Your correct Oscar, One Bad Day Does Not Make a Bad Trader. With a 80% winning track record and not a losing week this year, One bad day is just One Bad Day.
Although I am still favoring the downside (bear market)I cant stand in front of a camera in a market going up week after week and tell students not to fall in love with the upside.
We are day traders and trade what the market gives us each day. But I do understand your point.
Fair enough. I just wanted to know where you stood with regard to the primary economic trend. The financials, which normally lead the market, are an unmitigated disaster, and they appear to be getting worse not better. And on top of that there's the rising price of commodities, which is just killing the consumer--I mean $150 oil by July 4th! Can the economy withstand that? It's a one-two punch which could K.O. the entire market.
@xenix2012 mr macro pseudo intellectual fag talking about macro issues. oscars a technical daytrader you fucking idiot. id love to kick the shit out of your stupid fucking ass
That's the funniest Oscar! We all sucked today! Hey but whats one bad call you can't be right all the time, your track record is still very very good in my eyes.
Well baby, you did suck today. But hey man, at least you have a sense of humor about it. ;-)
We don't always see eye to eye on trades but I still like ya. Anybody who has a classic rock collection like you have can't be all bad. I'll give you a 3 star average. 1 star for the trade today (tomato hurled at oscar) and 5 stars for the music (a rose).

Oscar, all kidding aside, if you want redemption, put "DON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH THE UPSIDE" back on the board.
You should NEVER have taken it off. And I'm damn serious about that.

And the sinking Dollar Index is not going to help matters. This is what us commodity traders live for. Volatility and trading opportunities.
Lest see what next week brings.
