  • Not the best song in their catalog, but Ian's vocals are damn good here.

  • 61 years old in the date of this show and still singing like this. Unbeliavable, just unbeliavable...

  • @lwpopov Hehehehehhe, good commentary! He is an icon, a legend for many singers!

  • 3:51!!! :o

Incredible voice, he was really amazing in that periodo!

  • One of my fav Purple songs, whatever line up.

  • Weiss Heim - that was a great tune

  • He's lowered the key of the first part of the verses. Very effective.

  • Congratulation to the Ian Gillan for this moment. He sing with feeling and energy yet. A song ever powerful.

  • At this gig as well and Gillan was in great form that night awesome performance

  • I wonder if they'll ever do: Anya or A Twist in the Tale from TBRO album.

Those songs for me where the highlight :D, on that album.

  • Yes indeed, and 'Anya'. Some people claim Steve can't pull that one off, but the Bombay 1995 version proves he can.

  • I got a friend who mailed me this link. He watched hundreds of DP videos and he gets totally pissed every time someone says that Gillan fucking can't sing. And he's sure this is the best version of the song. Better believe him or critics will be doomed.

  • the masters, the kings : deep purple

  • Ridiculous of you to even bother watching if you don't think it is then. This lineup is more classic than the 'Come Taste The Band' era, and way more solid than the JLT days in 1990-91...Purple Rainbow.

  • i was at this ... it rocked...

  • fucking excelent quality bootleg

  • remember playing this one

  • Ian Gillan still great

  • gillan way to low in the beginning

  • He's deliberately restructured the verses. It's not a case of him failing to hit the notes.

  • Apart from the solo, Steve is playing this OK here, but generally he is quite shit on this song. But I like the way Gillan has adjusted the verses slightly.

  • armchair critic LOL

  • I saw them in Manchester on this tour.

  • Interesting, and gratifying, that they're doing this one, being as it is one of Blackmore's last. The album was brilliant and went some way to making up for the years of sub-standard output that went before.

  • This song rocks! Thanks for posting

  • Thank you very much to hve posted this greét vidéo !! I like very much this song and it was more than a decade they didn't play it !

  • ine of their best songs!!its very nice they play it again..:)

  • This song was an absolute highlight from the '93 tour with the MKII line up, and the current line up is in fact doing it justice:-)
