The circumstances weren't similar at all. Someone hanging themselves does not mean they were doing it for sexual gratification. Cast in point, Carradine was found in a closet, naked with a cord wrapped around his balls. Brandis was found in his hallway fully clothed. He was in the midst of deep clinical depression. Brandis was suicide, Carradine was an accident. Not anything alike in the least other than hanging was the cause of death.
