The movie is a comedic on purpose, but there are some friggin scary scenes when the paramedic turns the ambulance lights on and theres like a hundred zombies staring at him! at one point my favorite horror flick !

It's pretty obvious this was intended as a very dark comedy, emphasis on dark, I personally wouldn't have seen it however I did laugh a lot at this trailer.

In regards to Slow or fast zombies, I'd say that since their dead a good explanation was that their brain is pretty fucked up and they've lost a lot of motorskills. However when you think about it, it's all fiction and it's a story so them being slow gives survivors a chance to fight back against the massive odds.

i kinda agree with you to some extent but i feel like it all boils down to the taste of the viewer..

for me the slow zombies has this certain charm to it, its nostalgic and classic in a way, and can play up psychologically if done well..i have always felt the fast running zombies as kinda like too much..

you are 100% right, the slow zombies have a classic type of fear. but for some reason, when i watch movies i always think in the back of my mind "what if..." and i put myself in their "shoes" mentally. slow zombies would scare me, but i could handle it, fast zombies on the other hand... i think id be terrified.

Exactly. Even though slow walking dead would be scary as hell... you could always just casually stroll away from the danger at a leisurely pace, take the time to sniff some roses... take a nap, etc...

Running zombies are freaking terrifying since theyre so fast and tireless.
