i downloaded the demo for this game. I couldn't stand it. I was already creeped out from the rattling and clattering sounds. then a steam pipe burst and scared me to hell, when the first necromorph showed its face i had to turn off the whole console. I was crapping my pants.

Orcidea, I can see that you have the full version of fraps. How big are the files at 720p? Mine takes 2GB for 1:30 minutes and I don't think that's normal.

It has nothing to do with your CPU. Fraps record in that way and thats all there is to it. U can choose 'half-size' in Fraps Movie settings, but thats it. Fraps makes big video files, period.

Fraps is recording uncompressed AVI material, which is huge in file size. My material (1920x1080 with max quality settings and with 30 FPS) is 4Gb / 1:30-2:00 minutes. Thats how it is. The bitrate of raw AVI footage can be over 350Mbps, which is 9 times better in quality than Blu-Ray movie (40Mbps).
