Their is also naval combat which is cool. The main point that I missed is the Freedom that you get in this game. Its non-linear and you are not obligated to do anything. You are dropped into one of the started cities and then you do WHATEVER you want. Seamless map with no instances or zones. Something new and exciting happens every day. I don't know about you guys but I have played a ton of mmo's but none hit the spot like this one did. Try the trial you wont regret it this game is amazing.

Well you missed out guys it was $9.99 USD for the game which came with one free month and then the $15.00 monthly fee. Honestly I just got off of playing the game and I can really vouch for this game. This video you are watching here is extremely old. The game mechanics and the graphics have been greatly improved since then. They have also just released an update that makes getting good at this game and skilling up easier. You guys are missing out on raids, pvp, pve, sieges, and good times.

Darkfall is EPIC, it takes like 5 hours to walk from one end of the map to the other. I usually play mmorpgs for a week or so before i get bored of them, ive been playing darkfall for over 3 months now!

If you mean bad, I think you then should consider to give a new tought, the game doesn't even allow you to put up high settings, and to be completely honest, Mortal Online is extremely good looking game in terms of texture quality and so on, only trees are ugly, and devs theirself have said they are just "Ugly meshes" till they get speedtree 5. Please go in to specifics to tell me why do the animations suck. And rest of your problems are caused by the desync.

Problem is no company out there has a big enough budget to create a game that will be as big as WoW, although WoW is beginning to fail, there is deffinatly potential for a new game to take its place. All recent MMORPG's (and thers been a lot) have dissapointed, which is a shame, as soon as i find a great MMO that attracts many players. Many WoW customers will move straight to it. How is this a good gameplay trailer? Most of it just shows people running around. In the few cases where we see combat there is very jerky character animation. On top of that we don't see any complete combat. What I mean by that is we don't see how long it takes to kill someone; we just see some swings and blood animations. Not very informative and definitely just something to get people to buy the game.

the reason that Darkfall was made is to make Mortal Online look better, just like Batman and robin, robins just gay with those briefs just to make Batman look like a hero. Ok to clear this up. This game is not as bad as it looks. I have it and have played it, not expecting anything from it but I can tell you now it captures a very realistic life of fantasy, its not rushed, its infact very peaceful at times unless you want to go into epic clan wars. You need alot of time and patience to play this game. The leveling system is a bit like runescape, but better and less time-consuming. They are releasing new patches every week, so soon this game is gonna be very cool.
