Actually 1 and 2 are about Halo, but Craig said part 2 leans a bit more to the actual war side, and part 3 is completely about war and our troops out in afghan and other places fighting for us according to Craig.

Okay like both of the songs are basically about the game Halo, if you read the lyrics together it'll start making sense. And also is the way the songs are built, its easier to understand if you play guitar or something but they both have similar patterns in the verse and chorus and pretty much the whole song structure.
