I love the zeitgiest movement and the ideas of a resource based economy as discussed in Zeitgiest Addendum and Moving Forward, but I think first film is atleast 60% nonsense. I think the only truly credible part is maybe part 3 but the rest is a bit dodgy. I say this as an atheist and a firm critic of American Foreign Policy as well, so it isnt being bias either :P
My opinion is that, like every system that has been "tested" so far, we should give it a try to this one as well. Will it be better? Maybe. Will it be worse? Based on the actual status/situation all over the world I doubt that. I mean, who said the current system is perfect or it works and there's no other alternative? Well, it actually works, but not for the people, because people, as in humans, is the main priority for the human existence.

Once they can demonstrate that type of society is posible, they would be taken seriously as a real avaliable alternative. Once they can demonstrate that type of society is posible, they would be taken seriously as a real avaliable alternative. But they have to focuse more in the technical problem rather than in the conciousness problem. Most of people may not believe a whole change is posible unless it is technically demonstrated.

@erichathy222 Um....yeahh. Great idea, considering the Bible has more inconsistencies and lies than any other book. Not only that, but more innocent people have been killed in the name of the Christian faith than any war that can be researched. If you really think Jesus Christ can save you when nothing has happened in over 2000 years and you are supposedly saved just by "believing in his name", you are definitely delusional. I used to believe that stuff, but not anymore.

I know that may be scary for people like you to come to this realization, but it is quite obvious when you look around that there cannot possibly be a God unless he is a very sick individual.

@erichathy222 i don't know about Meloch my opinion on religion is that it was good for a time but we're at a place now where we don't need it to further our understanding of how things work and if you break down religion to it's most basic form it comes down to astrology and sun worship not only is this covered in the first Zeigeist movie but the same information is echoed through Jordan Maxwell who has studied Theology Extensively

@erichathy222 mate anyone can argue that the things that are happening today are because they've been predicted by the bible or any other forms of literature i won't deny that we're at a very important era for the future development of our society but i will say that i agree with most of what is said in Zeitgeist and Zeitgeist Addendum in terms of religion and how it's being used as a form of manipulation and control it's the stupidest and most ridiculous concept along with money and politics
