That's cute :-) Being from KY across the river from IL, let me say two words: ELECTRIC BLANKET. You don't have to leave it on all night, just pre-warm the bed before you get in, put one blanket over the top of it and let it hold the heat in,then when you ready, turn off the electric one and jump in! Outdoors: COVER YOUR HEAD! A ski cap is good, cotton or wool, but get absolutely in the habit...I thought it was crap that we lose our body heat through our head, BUT IT'S TRUE! Good luck :-)
