  • "TOO OLD & TOO COUNTRY" Hahaha haha ha ha hahahaha ha !

Isn´t that what they say about superior old vintage vines ?

  • One of my favorite Stonewall Jackson songs. The others are "Life to Go" and "BJ the DJ." The steel guitar riff in this song does it a lot of justice.

  • great song from an era that was truly gold

  • When it comes to country, Stonewall is the one I want to see at the Opry. I have admired him since childhood and have seen him at the Opry several times. He is always a gentleman and a seasoned performer. Thank's, Stonewall.

  • What the hell has happened to the comments section at youtube, went to shit.

  • Bill Johnson on the old Sho-Bud, doing a knock out job on a song he wrote.

  • Stoney,as himself,God I wish he was still here!!!!

  • the newer country stuff is shit, this old stuff rules.................

  • couple more beers and I'll be ready for George Jones

  • The songs back then are so much more true to life than any of todays crap.

  • Agreed! Super!

  • First of about 10 songs I could play. Damn good lyrics....etc. (: Thx so much!

  • Quality country music, nothing like the junk they put out now and try to call it country. Alot of pioneering went on as these vocalists put out one hit after another. they adapted to the changes and made it seem as though it had always been.

  • nothing beats drinking, being depressed, and listening to solid old country gold

  • @85buickV8 Hell yeh!.. no one feels the pain like these legends right here!

  • Stonewall Jackson, the real deal as far as real country music goes. And you can understand every word he sings. Been listening to him since 1960.

  • This has been some of the best country I have ever listened to

  • When country was country and the song's were well written

  • WHAT DID YOU HAVE IN MIND?????????

  • Solid Country Gold. Nuff said.....

  • Jack Daniels and Stonewall Jackson, two of my favorite friends, yeah !!!!!!!

  • stonwalls still the best!!! Oh the old country!!! I LOVE IT !

  • It is great to find such wonderful memories here. So,hats off to you.booboosman1

  • this man is hard to beat in country music..true country thank 's for posting his great music..

  • There are several versions of this song, but none attain to the aching heartfelt persuasion of the original. Stonewall Jackson know how to deliver a country song.

  • why all the hating on hank jr jr? assjack incorporates country elements it doesnt claim to be the original thing ,and appeals to an updated audience, i happen to think that as a band it's higher quality music than any modern pop, and a great live show! just like there are different sounds to music from all genres across the spectrums of time, all newer genres of music were inspired by the older artists with out copying them entirely.

  • Thanks for uploading this song. It`s a deeply heart acing song..Country#1

  • I really love ol Stonewall! This is my favorite from him, but, I like many of his songs! It's a shame we don't hear this kind of real country music any more ! Thank the Lord for youtube! :)

  • Love it....!!

  • Stonewall Jackson will be doing a two day concert at the Presque Isle Middle School in Presque Isle, Maine on October 8th & 9th, 2010.

  • Shufflin' on the floor!

  • This brings back great memories. I remember Stonewall autographing a copy of this 45 for me when our radio station sponsored his concert in the 60s! My all time favorite Stonewall Jackson song (along with "Why I'm Walkin").

  • this is a good tune

  • this is my 2nd favorite song of all time, right after El Paso by Marty Robbins. Thanks for the post. I've been looking for it for a while.

  • Some real, true country. Don't listen to this if you're too depressed but it's great music and an authentic voice for this genre. I love the song even though it's so sad.

  • A true country classic. This is my favorite by Stonewall Jackson
