  • bush never banned all stem cell research, nor did he ban embryonic stem cell research, nor did he even ban federal funding for all embryonic stem cell research, but only federal funding for new embryonic cell lines. private funding was never banned, and private funding is common in sceince and technology. make it easier for biotech companies to profit from their development of embryonic stem cell tech, and private funding of the research will be overabundant.

  • nice video.. very good example of a good moral

  • God helps those who help themselves

  • Embryonic Stem Cells are NOT sourced from abortions!

  • I'm Christian and I'm pro stem cell research! People are going to get abortions regardless! So we might as well make the best it!

  • Stem cell research is a great idea. It can help the quality of life for many people, save some people's lives, make the "need" for animal testing lessen and do good for humanity (and other sentient beings for the reason aforementioned). I wish Bush would've gotten his head out of his bush and allowed this (and would've stopped the AETA which not only condones cruelty, but is a violation of our constitutional rights).

  • My god the stuff people will dismiss because it challenges their fragile little beliefs. If you are one of the people who are against this because of any reason besides you think it will offend a deity then I would love to hear your reasons and I respect them. I myself am a religious person, and my faith isn't challenged by scientific facts. The world is billions of years old, evolution exists, the universe was created in a big explosion and I believe there is a god. You can't bring me down.

  • After 6 months of offering stem cell therapy in combination with the venous angioplasty liberation procedure, patients of CCSVI Clinic have reported excellent health outcomes. Ms. Kasma Gianopoulos of Athens Greece, who was diagnosed with the Relapsing/Remitting form of MS in 1997 called the combination of treatments a “cure”. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.

  • A group of Canadian patients just back from Noble have reported similar results. “I can actually see what I thought were long-dead muscles forming in my feet” said Larry Vermeersch of Kenora, Ontario. “My balance is back and I’m walking without a cane. I’m a pretty hard guy to convince, but getting these two procedures together has made me a believer. I’m looking forward to the physio ahead because I can feel everything coming back.” Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.

  • With regard to MS patients, “We are cautious, but nevertheless excited by what patients are telling us. Suffice to say that the few patients who have had the therapy through us are noticing recovery of neuro deficits beyond what the venous angioplasty alone should account for”. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.

  • IF GOD DOESN'T WANT STEM CELL RESEARCH THEN WHY WOULD HE MAKE PEOPLE THAT CAN DO IT .THE GOD ARGUMENT SORT OF CANCELS ITS SELF OUT GOD MADE MAN AND IF YOU ASK ME HE MADE US ABLE TO PUT RIGHT HIS LITTLE ERRORS .ITS THE BIBLE PEOPLE TAKING GODS NAME IN VAIN . WE ARE JUST DOING WHAT GOD CREATED US TO DO MY MAKE A BETTER WORLD .

  • I hate when youtubers have religious debates. It's so annoying. STFU

  • @nemci7v youtube was besicly invented as open forum. i hate when i go to porn sites and they have ads about shemale porn. but i cant change that so fuck off.

  • This just proves how repressive and outdated religion is,

And how better the world would be, if rid of it...

On the future people will look back at Christ, and other Farris like it

As the real Satan's of our times...

  • The whole religious angle (resistance from the Xtian rightwing) is set up by pharma-controlled big med biz, cuz if people realized we got our own adult stem cells & do not need stem cells from aborted fetuses, nor even from umbilical cords. And we do generate stem cells right up til the time of death. However, we need to good rounded out care of ourselves and receive good rounded, non-invasive, nor chemically-laden healthcare when we've let things (e.g. our lifestyle) drift out of (our) hand(s)

  • wow....all for open dialog folks, but maybe you two could take your fight about how you thump, cram, bump, preach, or bash your bible parables...I'm thinkin' that this was a thought provoking satire on politics vs science. and the idiology of what to do with the LEGAL "leftover" embryo's harvested in labratories around the world. Noone seems to bat an eye at creating life in a plastic dish in a lab anymore.

Science is real. idiology is relative....politics are gross.

  • yeh w.e your just wrong and dumb

  • Amazing video

  • This was a very well-done video, it covered all the points that needed to be made. And it helps prove that Bush is an unintelligent fool who never should have been in a positon of power or decision making. Whoever made this video, good job guys :)

  • This is an awesome video...it makes every point that needs to be made. Whoever made it, good job guys :) And it helps further prove that Bush is an unintelligent fool who never should have been in a position of power or decision making.

  • Here's a question for those who would consider an embryo a human life; if you were in a fertility clinic that was on fire, and there was a child in one corner and a tray of embryos in the other, and you could only save one, which would you save? Remember, if an embryo is a human life, you would be saving more human lives by saving the tray of embryos.

  • @HiddenFacedMatt utilitarian much?

  • oh my god... this is awesome!

  • @Kfirce As though other countries looked to you before. You were never in the lead and will continue to fall further behind until it starts to pick up after the research ban's been lifted.

  • is this it is this what i've been looking for?

  • Im not sure if anybody knows what im talking about and dont start getting religious about this stuff but does anybody know career name of the scientists that are right know mixing animal and human embryos for cures for parkinsons and cancer? I read several articles about and this career just fascinates me and i hope maybe to become one in the future

  • I side with JabberCT.

  • at this logic every time a man cums, we all must name it, if the US or everyone had a secular nation we'd all be ahead of the dark ages like it never happened!

  • Please stop voting Christians into office in the US. Our country is far behind the rest of the civilized world because of people who think the world is 6000 years old and The Flintstones is a documentary. Their world policies depend on what their imaginary friends voice says. This needs to stop. Of all the lists ive seen of the best places to live on Earth, the US is not on any of them. Lets get a clue here. Atheist countries dominate the globe, and then there is us, dead last as usual.

  • @JabberCT Well, let's say you are right and there is no God. What is the point of all of this. Eventually, the world will end. Sure not for billions of years, but it will happen. And everything we will have built and accomplished will not matter at all. Nothing had a purpose, so it didn't matter. Who gives a shit if we can use stem cells. Everyone is going to die anyway so what is the point of living? So, what drives us to do what we have done? Nihlism's a bitch. Thank God I'm Christian.

  • @redshieldshatterer Why does their need to be a point? Cant you just live your life and be happy without worrying about its meaning all the time? Its as petty as a jealous God. Life is born, and it dies. Simple. And you are wrong that we all have to die. They now have the human body fully mapped and know exactly what causes aging and are working on ways of stopping that process through nanotechnology. Care to guess who stands in the way of their progress? Religion is a insult to mankind.

  • @JabberCT Exactly. There would be no point. There would be no such thing as morality. Just preference. Live your life happily however you want. Just do what you want. There is no difference between good and evil. Something like killing a person would not be bad. Just looked down upon by most people. There is no point. There is no reason why we are here. Just do what you want. Do what thou wilt. The law of

    Satan. Thank God I'm Christian.

  • @redshieldshatterer That is some scary ass thinking you got there. Youre saying that without belief in a God, Christians would just go loco. Wow. Proof that their minds are not all there. I never hear Atheists say things like that and i know no Atheists who want to go around killing people. You also dont see Atheists flying planes into buildings or putting bombs in abortion clinics. Religion simply doesnt fit in with todays civilized world. Keep thanking whoever you want for your lack of logic.

  • @JabberCT No, Christians would be Atheists. I'm just saying what a true Atheist should be thinking since they are Atheist. It is weird that you think killing people is bad despite of what you believe. Why do other humans have the right to make laws when they themselves are not perfect? Why do they get to decide what can and can't be done? Why do they get to say what is right or wrong? Why should we be civilized if we are no different from animals?

  • @redshieldshatterer "It is weird that you think killing people is bad...."

Its not weird. I think killing is bad for the same reason most people do. Because we were brought up in a non-murdering household that didnt promote killing or causing harm to others. Because our upbringing was good. Because we are aware of man-made laws for doing things like that. And from common sense knowledge that prison life is not fun. We get our morals from our fellow humans, not some invisible sky daddy.

  • @JabberCT Because if you go back in time, your family at one point had faith and were taught by your faith what good and evil was. You lost the faith, but kept a few parts of the religion. Sky daddy? You just hurt your argument by ridiculing my belief;) Come one atheist. You guys say you are more mature. Act like it. So because humans made something illegal, that makes it wrong? Or is it because most people just don't like it?

  • @redshieldshatterer Sky daddy isnt much of a insult for something that kills 100,000 people a day over a 2,000 year old apple eating contest. Especially when he purposely gave them no knowledge on what is right and wrong. Biblical morals are as follows... You can be a rapist, murderer, pedophile, bank robber, etc. All you have to do is accept the Lord, and you are forgiven. But if you seek true knowledge, and question things that have no evidence, you go to hell. There are no morals in that.

  • @JabberCT And you get your morals from fellow humans. Who says they're right? And God isn't in the sky. And he didn't want them to know right or wrong. He wanted them to live in the Garden of Eden. But once they ate the apple, they had knowledge of what evil was.And again if you feel guilt for what you have done and ask for forgiveness then you are forgiven. That is what my belief says.

  • @redshieldshatterer go back to church moron.

  • @ndc18 "go back to church, moron." "You need some serious help, sir." First off, I haven't been to Church in years. Secondly, way to be an adult dude. Just insult me like a fucking child instead of actually being a grownup. It's kind of sad when you think about it especially since you think you have a lot more common senes than Christians. Yet a lot of you seem to forget that insults are for toddlers. Grow up, you 3 year old.

  • @redshieldshatterer my belief says if there actually was a god the world wouldn't be in the state it's in now... nothing with any heart would stand by while innocent people suffer for what others have done or believe

  • @andrewcul Well, would u prefer if God destroyed all the evil and evildoers of this world, friend? Because if he did, then we would be destroyed as well. God did not cause Hitler to do what he did. God did not cause Stalin to do what he did. Humans did. It's not God's fault. It's the fault of humans. No one ever said life was going to be fair.

  • @redshieldshatterer well if god made humans what they are clearly it is 'gods' fault as well

  • @andrewcul God just gave us something that we take for granted. He gave us the power to choose. We can choose to acknowledge Him or choose to ignore Him. He gave us free will.

  • @redshieldshatterer prove it... thats all i can say... Science: proves things. Religion: fairy tales with no solid evidence for hardly anything...

  • @andrewcul First off, I can see your starting to fall back on childish insults. Fairy Tales? Careful. This is a common mistake that the atheists I argue with make. Secondly, there are very few things in this world that people know. So, it is very hard to prove something completely. People have a lot more faith than they think they do. So I with my limited abilities can not prove God. You should ask professionals like archeaologists, Bible scholars, scientists who are Christian, etc.

  • @redshieldshatterer im not atheist you tit... and ask anyone! they have not nor ever will find a random man in space that created everything... i can't say something intelligent didn't create everything but it certainly didn't do everything bible bashers believe it did, also yes fairy tales the bible is just full of stories that have things that seem and some times are impossible just like fairy tales.

  • @andrewcul I totally agree with you :)

  • @andrewcul Sorry, usually the people who argue with me about the Bible and such are atheists. And you mean Bible thumpers, not bashers. And see, if you don't agree with me, then fine, but don't go belittling the other person's point of view in an argument. It is childish and it hurts your position. Grow up, you toddler. And yes the Bible has stories that seem impossible, but that doesn't mean it's not true. And for "finding the little man in space"? Well, space is a big place.

  • @redshieldshatterer you are trying to push bible shit into everyone on here... i have seen all your comments... that is childish so you grow up you toddler... the only time anything can be proved is when your dead but then you can't even tell anyone so just leave it. and it is bible basher.

  • @andrewcul Friend, my faith says that I'm supposed to be going around preaching the gospel. And I don't do that as often as you think. And yes, the only time anything can be proved is when u die. That means that right now, we all rely on faith. If you were in a religion and it said to go out and preach, then you would be singing a different tune. Btw when you post your opinion on a comment board you should know that people might respond to u. JabberCT knew that. And yes, it is thumper not basher

  • @redshieldshatterer 1. i am NOT your friend 2. it is basher (thumper is a rabbit ) 3. my faith says F you i can't be arsed with you and your bible raping ways. this is my last comment since i don't want to waste any more time with people i do not like and never will like.

  • @andrewcul So what is a gay basher? In America a Bible thumper is someone with a strong faith in the Bible. And you lost the argument. Not because you pussied out, but because your whole argument has been biased. And you wouldn't be this disrespectful to my face. You hide behind a keyboard and make fun of my faith all you want because you know that all I can do is type back at you. Way to be a man. and you make your self look bad with your childish insults. Da svidaniya. tovarisch.

  • @redshieldshatterer Bible thumpers are keeping America in the dark ages. And bear in mind, that not everyone follows Christianity, nor do they have to. There are many different religions in America, and we are all entitled to our personal religious beliefs.

  • @MrWomanpower First off, whoever said that everyone has to follow Christianity? It's called free will. Secondly, I don't see Christianity as a religion (don't forget, that's my opinion.) Thirdly, you are being very extreme when it comes to the whole dark ages thing. BTW "Bible thumpers", which in the way you said it is a childish insult against many Christians, don't oppose adult stem cells taken from dead bodies. Just cells from aborted children.

  • @redshieldshatterer you need some serious help sir.

  • @JabberCT i agree, the mindset of many devout christians is very skewed. i think its not whether they believe in a god or heaven and hell, i think its whether they allow themselves to be brainwashed by the scripture. i am sick of people blindly and foolishly following the scripture, condemning others for their beliefs, proclaiming things that have been proven false such as that the world is only thousands of years old. i support stem cell research because i know the possibilities it holds.

  • <3 this video

  • I am a conservative libertarian and I strongly believe in stem cell research. I consider myself a "new age libertarian"- we are more open to new ideas and slant more towards the anarchy side than traditional libertarians.

  • Listen people, anything aborted is already passed the "our young" side, ok?

If it helps people, USE IT. In 200 years time, we'll be space-fairing and probably be able to regenerate using this stuff.

So much WHINING from HEALTHY people talking about ETHICS.

Irony will hit you hard when you suffer and cry for help which is available but you wont receive.

  • @oran6es how is it bogus when it was a news segment? and if she wasn't cured, she wouldnt have control of her thighs to move those legs. and embryonic stem cells do NOT come from "ground up aborted fetus," they come from a blastocyst, which has 150 cells, no nerves, no organs of any kind, and no even remotly human shape. I f they were taken from a fetus, then they wouldnt be EMBRYONIC, smarty. the word means "from an embryo." isnt it sad when a high school freshman knows more than you?

  • @oran6es no, they were embryonic, and it happened in india. so if you are going to argue without even looking, then your more stubborn than ANY other "lifer" here. i am ok with you having opinions, but if your going to just deny what i say to make it sound how you want, that pisses me off, at least look.

  • @ThePlayking57 BOGUS. Ground up aborted fetuses? are you serious? Therapy and the special brace(RGO) is what allowed the paraplegics to walk. The woman is not curing anything. The only way that stem cells can allow a person to walk is if the embryo is treated as an individual and allowed to develop naturally. Implant an embryo, it'll be walking(and talking and thinking) within 2 years.

  • Yes, Satonator, he did. Which I think is a BRILLIANT move!! ...actually one of the FEW things I agree with him on...

the video of him giving the OK is on youtube, in fact...

  • not always, oran6es. you see, on this VERY website, there is a news recording... a woman in australia was mowed down by her own car, trying to stop it with her 3 young girls inside, and is now parylized.... she was injected with stem cells, and.... HALILUGHYA! she can WALK AGAIN!!! Look up "myrical stem cell cure" on youtube, and do research before you talk.

  • @ThePlayking57 those were adult stem cells.

  • Didn't Obama give the okay??? im pretty obama has agreed to do further research i could be wrong.. fill me in

  • Cannibalizing our own young is NOT scientific progress.

  • @oran6es so.....help people by using them or...just throw them away? have you got a need for stem cells? my guess no, lying on your back staring at the ceiling you would think long and hard about it

  • @haydn187 Embryonic stem cells implanted into a paraplegic DO NOT WORK. They form tumors(teratomas-google"pictures of teratomas"). Present research is using MATURE cells DERIVED from embryos. In essence, your cell corporation is developing infant parts in separate dishes. Better to fund adult stem cell research and induced pleuripotent cell research. More promising AND ethical.

  • @oran6es are you spreding stuff here, too?! im trying to get info for an essay, go stay on some other page! look, the fact is, embryonic stem cells have the most potential to cure disease because they can become any cell in the body. the only real argument is from the uberchristians who say "thats not ok, cause it might become a human." Yea, it might, just like if you take a skin cell, and give it to a lab, they could make it a human too. so don't scratch your noses, guys, or you go to hell...

  • fuck man, im totally confused. who's on whose side?

  • Stemgevity

  • i dont care whats right or wrong, at the end of the day if it helps people then it must be a step in the right direction. and until you no sayers have a day in my c4 paralysed body you should take a back seat and shut the hell up. oh ye,r by the way i hope there is a god...i really do... coz when i meet him im going make him wish he never fucked with me!

  • Discover more at STEMTHRIVE for Stemgevity...

  • Stem cell research is a scam by atheists to steal research funding from Catholics who won't do for liberal Atheists who will. It's produced not one single God damned thing beyond fatter liberal Atheists. NADA! NOTHING! ZILCH! EVERYBODY LOOK HOW THE ATHEIST CON ARTISTS RIPPED US OFF!

  • @Texasjim2007 Geting injured Americans back into the work force so they stop sucking our tax-dollars for disability checks. Yea the Atheists are the dumb ones..

  • Should a cell corporation have rights over developing humans' entire body and substance well into full maturity, even if matured as separate parts?

  • i support stem cell research but this video is proganda

  • only idiots would oppose stem cell research

  • ....and remember the embryos used for research are NOT killed. They are kept alive, in pieces and parts(their parts are developed separately). One group of humans controlling another group's entire body and substance well into maturity. Sounds like a 13th amendment violation.

  • @oran6es Do your research dude. There is currently no way to harvest stem cells from a human embryo without killing him/her.

  • @sphynxalive For such research, the human embryo lives on, as separate divided units, pieces of a whole, developed by the corporation. The unit as a whole is destroyed, but it's parts live on. The living human becomes living commodities. Not cool.

  • i swear to god if obama does not get elected for four more years i will kill myslef

  • i don't under stand? WHY the fuck are they listening to any church! they have no valid opinion!

  • stem cell research is kind of like donating your kidneys after death...republicans dont want it because their just retarded. republican representative palin proves why republicans are so ignorant.

  • @kathy160 Adult stem cells have more potential to advance stem cell research than embryonic stem cell. That is a scientific fact. It is rational to go with adult stem cells for this reason as well as to quell the controversey over the moral and ethical repercussions of this research.

A small influential group of scientists are still promoting embryonic stem cell research to further their own agenda which is tied to big business (abortion and pharmeceuticals). Why kill unborn babies?

  • ***Great Video =D

Feb. 3, 1913 - The states ratified the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. It Reads:

"The congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the sereral States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Let religious establishments pay taxes first then we can listen to what they have to say. I HATE how they want to tell us how to live and yet they dont pay taxes like me and you.

  • See the real deal on the internet at umich.edu/stemcell/faq/

  • how much information are presidents given to make decisions or is the a dude that just advises them to say yes or no

  • People that said it is wrong are ignorant about it. 'Ignorant' is holding society back.

  • I really don't understand the controversy. Here lies the greatest potential for curing diseases, illnesses, physical injuries, etc and yet the religious fanatics seem to want to deprive mankind of this scientific breakthrough. fucking pathetic

  • @ThatGuyWhoSucksBoobz Stem cell research is revolutionary and a good thing. Embryonic stem cell research is unethical and "old school". Adult stem cell research is thumbs up and offers many more potential advancements in medical science.

  • @ThatGuyWhoSucksBoobz Wrong. No one knows how much potential they have dude. hESCs are unstable and become cancerous unlike stable adult stem cells.

  • We need to use our brains. Religion infects every decision made in America and it's so sad.

  • @superduperjew Religion is the greatest moderating influence in a society. There is nothing wrong with having a way of life and that is what religion is...a way of life. How else would society maintain law and order without it? All secular laws that have kept civilization civilized come from a religious root. Anytime we subscribe to a belief that each of us can create our own truth and our own morality (which is the case in this age) we are on the slipery slope to disaster and ruin.

  • Fourth Grade conversations here --

  • I SAY ADULTS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO ABORT FETUSES!

  • @jonyadegari so you would rather have a child grow up in a home where the parents cant properly take care of them, or have a mother DIE before the child is born, which BTW happened to a close friend of mine, niether of them survived, if she had had an abortion, she would have lived

  • @Dunkin34 lets say your father left you when you were a kid and your mother was bad, would you rather be dead than have this life? if a mother chose her baby to die so she can live, that would be the most selfish thing a person can possibly do and she should even be allowed to live.

  • @jonyadegari if my mother was bad CAS would step in a get me into a better home, i just think that if a person thinks they would be a horrible parent they should have a choice, and yes i agree it is selfish, but thats not your choice to make for a person, if i had somthing growing inside of me that would eventually kill me and itself i would FORSURE choose me

  • @Dunkin34 You think that they should have a choice to KILL another human being who is at his/her most vulnerable state of existence....pulease dude stop regurgitating this "right to choose" crap. The right of every human being to live trumps anyone else's right to choose to kill that human being. Instead of defending the murder of unborn humans lets defend the unborn...how about that?

  • @jonyadegari Well you wouldn't know the difference because there would be no "you". So it would make no difference.

  • @Dunkin34 So you think killing that child is better than the parents giving her up for adoption? We should have more respect for human life. Sea turtle eggs in some parts of the world have more protection than unborn babies. Really sad state we are in to be even considering a human life to be expendable due to inconvenience.

  • @Dunkin34 Killing a child because he/she is an inconvenience is not ethical. If the mother's life is at risk then there may be a valid case imho.

  • @jonyadegari just wait until you or somone you love is in that situation then form an opinion, and an abortion that shitty parents get could save that potential child from harm, and save another human beings life, i do not see how it is selfish to give life to another person

  • @Dunkin34 How is taking the life of a human being right because it "might" help someone else to live? That is not rational in any way whatsoever and is tantamount to murder. Besides they could use adult stem cells instead of killing a defenseless unborn HUMAN BEING.

  • @jonyadegari Yeah, atleast if they do abort the Fetus it should be done in a humanitarian way, like sucked through a hose and then cooked in the hospital kitchen.

  • LAWL bush powered fail

  • Bush is "THE" worst president in United States history. Thank God he's outta there.

  • @ViceCityMayhem The spare embryo is no less human than the non-spare. If impending destruction is the criterion for human part harvesting then death-row inmates are game too, correct? That's not very ethical. Even convicted killers shouldn't be sold as parts.

  • @ViceCityMayhem Worst presidents1. Barry Obama 2. Jimmy Carter 3. Andrew Johnson

  • @oran6es I agree with you on Obama but I would say Bush comes in second. All Obama has effectively done since coming into office is launch a concerted attack on the unborn and family life in america while fattening the coffers and wallets of elite corporate america under the guise of fiscal stimulus...

  • Someone LIKE YOU who is a right-wing radical republican who can't back up logic with science is messed up. Go back to your religious teachings, see how far that will get you. In additon, try having someone who has some ailment/disease such it be Parkinsons, Diabetes, Spinal-Cord Injury, Heart Disease, and Cancer which may find some form of solace with this research. Take for instance, Actor Michael J. Fox who has Parkinson's Disease. Do some research as well, since I wrote a 2,000 word paper

  • No one sees a cure on the horizon. Adult stem cells have shown more promise. You ASS U ME there will be some cure from such? The implantation of embryonic cells CAUSES teratomas, a horrific cancer. Culturing cells until they've developed into infant cells is not a medical advancement.

Funding REALISTIC research is the answer, my friend. I would suggest leaving religion out of the debate.

  • @oran6es You are exactly right. There are alot of ignorant subverts on this forum who simply regurgitate what they here the embryonic stem cell kabbal of scientists mouthing to justify their agendas.

  • lol sorta understand what your saying, i agree they should do research with all of these thrown away embroys, how ever im not sure its completely down to the'right-wing' republicans, its not all their fault such efforts have been hampered lol, and i too have done a 3000 word essay on this topic lol

  • Put a fucktard in charge of the world's most powerful country. Hahaha....

  • @PostHuman2113 you mean put a fucktard in the worlds FORMER most powerful country

  • think bush would have said somethin else if he knew that china is the leading nation when speaking of stem cell technologi and using it for medical purposes

  • china dont care about human life e.g. they throw out girl babies to die, just because there only allowed 1 kid and they want a boy

  • I like this!!

  • Almost makes you want to cry :(

  • LOL. I like how this was done. Not a screaming match between opposing sides, just an explanation of the facts with a little humor thrown in.

    "Are they from France?"

    ^Lmao =)

  • man that biohazard symbol looks so fuckin cool

  • @maxamojaxamo i have it tatoo'd on my arm!!! lol

  • GREAT VIDEO!!! My son was blind, and thanks to stem cells he can now see. Thank you Mr. Obama for supporting stem cells and cures for so many neurological conditions!!!

  • really!? thats great... =D

i was hoping to go uni to study science and hopefully go into this field in the future, i think stem cells offer unbelivable oppertunity & hope for people, I HATE the morons who try to oppose it for the most stupid contradicting reasons...

  • adult stem cells no doubt.

  • Yep, there's a report out of England that stem cells from his own other eye enabled a man to get his sight back in his blind eye. ADULT stem cells from HIS OWN body. This is the future of stem cell research.

  • @Jam29Isabel o wow thats amazing congratz!

  • @Jam29Isabel thats is AWESOME! I'm super happy for you, and that is EXACTLY why i had my childrens cord blood banked

  • JESUS is a lie, so who gives a crap what a DELUSIONAL GOD believer thinks. Look up HORUS, funny how his story is exactly the same as JESUS. STEM CELL RESEARCH FTW!!!!

  • " A lie cannot live. "

    Martin Luther King, Jr.

hESC research has benefitted no one, except for the labs that received taxpayer dollars, and the politicians that promised a cure for virtually all diseases, cures that do not exist for any disease for the foreseeable future.

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!

  • "well, they're human lives.. and they're sacred. Throw them in the trash"

    LOL

  • actually rather tragicomical as it true. Im interested in the anti stem cell researches telling what they think should be done with these embyonated eggs that will never be used?

  • Does one group of humans(cell corporation) have the right to own and control the development, entire body and substance of a living human individual into the infant stage? A 9 month stem cell line is actually living infant tissue in separate dishes.

The natural death of surplus embryos in the blastocyst stage would be preferable to the very UNNATURAL life of the developed infant in separate dishes, a human individual converted into a commodity.

  • OK aborted fetises heres the choices: Use them to save millions of lifes and cure ppl with serious illness. Or throw them in the trash. Those fetises are dying anyway so why not use them to save ppl? I dont understand people who think this is wrong.

  • Thank you

  • LOL love it

  • "Replicate indefinitely": incorrect. There is a finite number of cells derived from each embryo(one human's worth). If it were infinite, you'd only need one embryo, forever.

The embryos used for research are forcibly divided and forced to develop as living pieces in separate dishes, to be used as property. They don't remain embryonic cells. In the dishes, they're fetal cells in 8 weeks, they're infant cells in 38 weeks. Main advocates are phDs. Many MDs, such as I are opposed.

  • Possibly many MD's are opposed, but not most. I've seen multiple studies that show most doctors support it. And I have never seen anyone claim that any embryos will ever be required other than those already slated for destruction (nor should any others be used).

  • My father is a doctor and of the 58 doctors that work with him, there is not a single one opposed stem cell research.

Also, can you please explain what "infant cells" are? I thought infants had arms and legs and could breath. Dont you mean potential infant?

  • Have them review their embryology texts. Embryonic cells for treatment do not work, they form teratomas. The cell corporation is maturing embryonic cells by pulling apart the embryonic blastocyst, keeping them alive, multiplying and maturing them for several months into mature or fetal/ infant /child tissues. (the cells do not remain embryonic). The muscle/skin/nerve/bone cells of their(shoulda been)arms and legs are strewn about multiple dishes, alive. It's the same stuff.

  • @oran6es thanks for calling me an ass, poor damn fool....If you could only understand what the potential of EMBRYONIC STEM CELL THERAPY can do on the human body. By the way, if you didn't already notice, ESCR is not, I repeat NOT KILLING BABIES. They are being discarded anyways and what good use will come to that? I am 100% for this research. Just go ahead and follow your Radical Republican cronies on Capitol Hill who don't even want to pass Health Care Reform. See how successful you will be.

  • Ofcourse you would say "Barry" Obama is the worst president due to your RADICAL REPUBLICAN VIEWS..... Just accept defeat, and dominance of your party, since the Republicans will NEVER rebound..... Everybody knows that BUSH was the WORST President in United States history. You don't have to deny it...

  • yes bush was crappy, he made me laugh alot lol but obama is just as bad

  • @zachtac how so?

  • @zachtac for one just a recent one... two words... obama care... not much explains his character more atm

  • @zachtac

thats what you get when you have a popularity contest instead of a political election!!!

  • @ViceCityMayhem with the possible exception of Richard Nixon

  • @ViceCityMayhem Obama is the worst. Bush was responsible for taking the lives of adult humans but Obama is for the most innocent of all human life...unborn babies. He really must have a cold heart to be so relentless in trying to make tax payers pay for the shedding of innocent blood.

  • @sphynxalive another nigger hater..... Jesus Christ. If the embryos are being discarded from fertility clinics, then who gives a shit? Give the research a chance. You teaparty right-wing ultra conservative hatemonger.....

  • @ViceCityMayhem Love all humans: black, white, less developed, more developed, ignorant. Simply put: a "leftover" embryo is no less human. A mature stem cell line's parts are no different than an infant's parts. Corporations should not have the right to convert living humans into commodities.

  • @oran6es You obviously don't understand. Do you know what discarded means? They are being killed either way. So why not better mankind in doing this research? Why not better our society in doing this research? It will help hundreds, if not millions, of people who have some sort of disease or ailment. Just go back to church and pray.... see how far that gets you.

  • @ViceCityMayhem You mean like prisoners on death row? They are being killed either way. So why not better mankind by using them for research? It could help millions of people. We don't experiment on prisoners because it's UNETHICAL.

  • @oran6es WTF? Never said ANYTHING about prisoners. Wow i'm going to stop wasting my time with a sac of shit like you... Retard who can't understand ETHICAL science. You probably haven't heard of clinical trials that PEOPLE do attend on their free will. I hate all you hard-core staunch teaparty BAGGERS.
