Friendship is really important when dealing with mental health issues. Try to find people you can relate to and who can understand your problems can really help you. At least it has helped me : ) I suggest you join one of all the forums or websites like Mapofmates.
I went to a psychiatrist to see if I had ADHD ... the doc said that I seem to have the sympostoms tho you can't diagnose someone with ADHD at a later age...(

It is so often the case, certainly as pertains to so-called mentally ill individuals, that it is family, friends and employers who suffer. This notion, that the mentally ill and disordered, in the millions, "suffer in silence", is a falsehood but strategically useful for the MH profession's push to publicize and politicize so much in the way of problems in living as "disease" states. After all, how does one come to be labeled and "treated" for mental illness, if one is silent?
