We are Years behind everybody else and until everybody in England realizes this we are only going to get the same every world cup.

In Holland they coach kids to control the ball and pass this is also the same in Spain and they also get children to play with small footballs and 5 aside.

In England we get children to play on full sized adult pitches and size 5 balls.

Your argument is flawed.

The top 3 EPL team do not represent English football as a whole.

If you really want to analysis English football and compare it to Spanish football then we need to look at technique.

Spanish football has been concentrating of there youth technique for the last 20 years.

What you are doing is confusing entertainment with class and technique.

Outside the top four in England the rest cannot pass the ball.

@bighands69 You may have different views than me, and I respect that. I'm just saying my point because I feel that Premier League has also technically improved with the arrivals of Luis Suarez, David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Juan Mata.

I'm just making my point that the Premier League is more challenging than any other leagues because two teams will be fighting to the end to win unlike in La Liga where Barca and Real win by 4-5 goals every week and the other teams just watch them win

4 different teams have won the EPL and in that same period of time 3 different teams have won La liga.

And if you look at the mid table teams from Spain they have been more successful in the UEFA cup/league.

Suarez and co have not changed the way youth are coached in the British isles.

Until people wake up to the fact that English football is less skillful than 20 years ago we will keep crashing out of tournaments.

Don't get me wrong Dea Gea & Lindegaard are very young and still have a lot to learn, but as you said our defense now isn't up to par. All i'm say is that if we had Van Der Sar instead the amount of goals scored on Manchester United this season would be much less.

Spanish football is at least 20 years ahead of English football. They concentrate on technical football were as the EPL is all about getting stuck in.

Germany after 2002 world cup realised that they had lost there technical game and decided to concentrate on youth technique and they are 10 years now ahead of England.

People keep saying that EPL is the best in the world yet an average EPL team cannot pass the ball. Even croatian football is better than English.
