I hope you understand, he can'tt play that way consistently, but took "mini-breaks " every few seconds. This allows him to regain bloodflow through his hands. The constant "mini-breaks"- alows a "burst" of energy; not to be confused with long endurance-- but spotty 'Burn Quick"-displays of "quick" cho0ps.... Could he play a whole song at that burnout speed? NO! Could he keep that up in a 13 minute competition? NO. Take it for what is worth. -A good drummer!!!!

and one more thing i think i caught a the very very end of the solo. The very last note... is a power stroke about a half inch away from the head. so a power stroke with out the power part.. that tough to do, however the video is low res and difficult to tell.

While I will admit the shit he was doing was fucking hard, and gave him a like for that, he could have varied it up rudiment-wise. It was all double stroke rolls from what I saw, but damn he's good at backsticking. So yeah this guy's a beast, but I wish he would have done more complicated rhythms rather than technique.

@grgmys neil peart is trite nonsense, he's good, but it's old, so is he, and so is that style of playing....true creative drummers (and more talented than peart) are; matt halpern, travis orbin, morgan agren, terry bozzio, vinnie colaiuta, tomas haake, zach hill, mark juiliana, chander sardjoe, jojo mayer, chad wackerman....skill is about the placement, peart just puts on a show....rhythm is a very delicate thing, i hate drummers that play straight in the pocket!
