  • it's really mediterranian food because all of these are not only turkish but from all over the mediterranian ...

conclusion: food in turkey is indeed awesome and very famous

  • rus salatası asfgafs :D

  • so you think we copied

,let me say we made them better than originals or made a fusion of all these kitchens and CREATED something original? Because you know Ottomans and many other Turkish states in history always have been open to new cultures so we are used to make unique syntesis of cultures unlike nations insist on so called "purity"

So why don't we hear about Persian food or why people don't say Arab kitchen is awesome but everyone talks about Turkish cuisine. We are inventors of fusion

  • @Daski69 Hmm, think we copied, let me say we made them better than originals or made a fusion of all these kitchensand CREATED SOMETHING NEW ? because you know Ottomans and many other Turkish states in history always have been open to new cultures so we are used to make unique syntesis of cultures unlike nations insist on so called "purity"

  • Some stupid comments in YT come from kids and teenagers. Chill out people. I am an adult and have traveled world over. All cuisines we picked up from each other. Many similarities here and there. LOL

  • there are three big kitchens , TURKISH , French and Chinese ! TURKISH ( Ottoman kitchen ) is delicious and fine , classssssssss .

  • @WordsOfWisdom88

haha yeah man really hungry ;-)

  • @WordsOfWisdom88

Most important thing to know is that we all have nice and good food, i don't care if it's Greek, Turkish or from other Balkan countries, It's good and I respect food so the only thing that offende me was the fact that this 'racist' Tukish guy said that before ottomans Greeks and others were eating shit, the same like that Aryanpride loser loser said to you about the stolen kebabs, these are comments of people looking for conflict and arguments, ignore them! Peace man!!!

  • @WordsOfWisdom88

Not most Greek food is Turkish, there are similar foods but we also have many of our own dishes, remember, it was ottomans or turks that invaded us so maybe they took over our food habbits, I know we also took over Turkish dishes during ottoman occupation but still I find it stupid to discuss about food... and about Kebab i really don't know this, I've been in Egyptian & Arabian restaurants and they also have Kebab but they call it Kabab, nothing more, we call it Gyros haha

  • @WordsOfWisdom88

Not childish, just responding on childish comments of stupid racist Turks who said that before ottoman empire Greeks and Armenians were eating shit, what for a stupid comment is that, that's what provocated me in the comments of this video and that is why I responded, nothing more, there are childish Greeks & Turks everywhere here on you tube, but there are also normal Greeks and Turks not saying stupid things like that, I just want them to respect the food and nothing more!

  • oh and kharni yarek, and iman baidi ;)

  • my favorites are chi kufte, echli kufte, and monte.

  • this is more of Anatolian cuisine, because we Armenians eat the same food :) but I must say it is soooooooooo delicious.

  • even armenians stole our lahmajoon dirty stinking duduk bitches

  • @BATMANLIBATMAN

shame on you how dare you talk to my people like that, I'm an Armenian but I didn't came here to cuss at you, and by the way lah majun is arabic so get your facts straight.

  • Comment removed

  • @BATMANLIBATMAN

you don't have respect for food, how can you say that armenians and Greeks were eating shit, it was you ottomans who came to Anatolia and Greece to steal our food habbits, don't forget, it are all mixed foods, i know whe have also turkish food habbits in Greece, but Greece has also food from itself, tradittional foods from GREEK empire long before the ottomans existed, don't say stupid things batwoman, you are a piece of shit, not the food we eat, have some respect malaka

  • @Makgreek fuk u and and your gayish empire as well

  • @BATMANLIBATMAN

no no, I FUCK your mother because your father is gay, just like Bulent Ersoy is gay, just like Fatih Ürek is gay, just like Ataturk the GAY, watch your big mouth mongol, we fucked you in 1821, end of ottoman empire, game over, i asked you to respect FOOD and you start swearing, fuck off bastard

  • @Makgreek u r kurdish bitch not greek fukk you and your apo

  • @BATMANLIBATMAN

and you are mix of mongol, seltjuk, turanturk, ottoman, kurdish, GREEK, Armenian... hahah you are the biggest piç bastards of the world, muauahahaha

  • @Makgreek in every turkish video there are some greeks swearing. my friend this is not good for greece, all folks will believe that greek people are childish and stupid.

  • @aporia82

and in every Greek video there are some racist turks swearing at Greece, I only reacted on the stupid comments about somebody that said shit about Greek food, that's not having respect for food, nobody call's our Greek or turkish food shit, I find that childish and stupid... look further on you tube and you will see non stop provocations of turks, and some Greeks....what are you? turk or greek?

  • @BATMANLIBATMAN

where were you? when Armenians existed and they were making food? You were jumping on the trees and eating a s.....t

  • turkish ppl make the besst saladss yummmmm nd riiicee i could eatit alll day lol

  • I am a college freshman in the U.S. I am planning on going with some of my friends on a trip this Autumn to the Middle East, and we will be visiting Turkey. We would like to visit a Turkish restaurant while we are in Istanbul. Can anyone recommend a menu for the evening? I'm afraid I know very little about Turkish cusine.

  • @boy18inva i would recommend you "manti" if it is available then take "Kayseri Manti" bceause Kayseri is the place where this food "manti" has become famous and kayseri manti is still the best

What i can else recommend you is Dolma or Sarma

I dont know what your flavour is but i like everything of turkish food^^

Believe me you can take anything and wont be dissapointed ( if you are not a vegetarian )

  • Turkish food is the best food ever! 15 countries I have visited, and nothing compares to Turkish food.

  • K manti is the best everyone knows.

  • Daski69 you are a fool and underestimate the influence of the TURKISH people to the world.

By the way TURKIYE is a diverse country with hot and cold regions which can be enjoyed by millions of people every year so stop being bitter and pay respect

  • ALL TURKISH FOOD IS THE BEST.

( but for me Kavurma. with Kofte, rice, cooked potato, cacik, and cooked tomato sauce. MOST DELICIOUS THING EVER)

  • @OrhanCorporation the spaniards have "patent" when it comes to potatoes and tomatoes, zucchinis and beans, those are all widely consumed in turkey... the spanish brought them to europe after their glorious campaign in the new world

  • @Daski69 not nesecarily.

    the ottomans ruled spain.

  • @OrhanCorporation The Ottomans ruled Spain? Brother, where have you heard this ridiculous lie? Maybe you are joking or you are just misinformed but that is simply not true, Turks didn't even rule the whole northern coast of Africa because Spain also had territories there. An outright war between Spain and the Ottoman empire would have been the end of the Turkish might. Remember the battle of Lepanto.

  • @Daski69 ottoman empire ruled hole north africa after 1553 when they defeated spain and portugal in the coast of morroco but they let moroco rule by there own king and all you europeans/christians talk about vieanna and lepanto the ottomans were more victorius than europians the holy league lost many battles against the ottomans but you right the ottomans didnt conquer spain

  • @altaipower That is a common misconception. The Turks never had the guts to invade Spain because they knew they'd lose. And it's also misleading to say Turks, your army consisted of lots of other races. Spain won more sea battles against the Turks than the reversed.

  • @Daski69 spain never fought the ottomans alone always with a holy league or the hasburg empire and the turkic cuisine isnt mongolian cuisine you got kebab baklava dolma sarma all of the ottoman cuisine in central asian turkic countries so stop talking without knowledge

  • @emrah17 really i don't give two shits about the cuisine, but still don't agree with you. The Spaniards fought along with other nations but in many battles constituted almost the whole army. The Ottoman empire wasn't just Turks, actually it was more others than Turks.

  • @Daski69 First of all, the ottomans where mainly TURK yes there where enough others, we didn't disciminate among our subjects if you had the talent you'd get the job. Second of all, no one CARES about how you feel about the Ottomans. It's a video about TURKISH cuisine you moron

  • @Daski69

Believe me if turks didnt invade Spain its rather cause it had no strategic value then having no guts to do it. I have a hard time to come up with a battle solely between Spain and Ottomans. Most times It was the Holy League against Ottoman empire, Spain was just a part of it. And in most cases these battles were sea battles and again in most cases they lost against the Ottomans, until 1571 Europe even taught Turks were undefeatable. Get the facts straight !

  • @lomanad How could it not have had a strategic value?

Spain comprised most of the Holy league and we both know it.

Of course there were victories won by both sides, yet remember that the Ottomans were not only the new Turks, but also the Arabs, Kurds, Syrians, Armenians, Georgians, Berbers, Greeks etc etc.

  • annemin yemeklerini cok özledim:((

  • Kahve, chorba (soup) you learnt from us :)

  • @ProfessaM why should we be enemies? the only people i hate are the facist m.f. and not only serbian facist

  • @ProfessaM

People are peopel dude apart from their race,i really love balkan Culture,Serbian, bosnian, albanian,Greek,Croatian,Bulgarian like many of us do.

    Salute&Respect from Tr.

  • @ProfessaM why let the past come between you 2 let bygones be bygones we are all human :)

  • @ProfessaM very nice comments, I hate it when it all becomes political even food, why we afraid to say the food is nice even from the our so called enemies, wish more people were like you :-)

  • @ProfessaM We are not enemies. Only the many nationalists in Serbia and Turkey makes it the way it is today.

Also the rip offs and Serbian bandits that treaths the Turkish tourists in Serbia badly but thats another story.

  • i am agree with you no nrrd to bee enemies we can accept each other like we are

  • THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD, greeks, armneian israelis arabs HAVE ALL COPIED US BUT WE ARE STILL NUMBER 1

  • @mshefik1 the truth is you've copied everything... nothing grew in the snowy mountains and dry cold plains of central asia... but who cares, no country is free from influence which only enriches the cuisines of all countries... börek is for instance balkan food, so is kokorec, kebabs are persian, all the delicious ingredients like the nuts, garlic, parsley etc you stole from others

  • @Daski69 man you talking biggest bull shit borek is turkish also kokorec the word kebab is arabic turkish language has 10-30% persian and 10-30 % arabic and 70-90% central asian turkic so its normal turks call it kebab but the ones that turks make are not arabic or persian they all got there own kebabs and turks got the most types of kebabs so they are the king of kebabs even baklava comes from central asian turks

  • @altaipower Turks had nothing before they had Turkey. Look at the Mongolian cuisine, it's shit.

  • @Daski69 The Turks build pyramids (the white pyramid) in china (east Turkistan) before the egyptians did it you idiot. Why the fuck do you need to come here and talk BULLSHIT about a race you know nothing about? It's a video about food so stfu enjoy the video and the food if you can and leave us alone you retard

  • @Daski69 Why do you need to insult mongolian food?

Food its a regions cultural invention ,people living on land use materials given by earth and make their food ,that's why when we were in central asia our food ,as nomadic herders was mostly on dairy products and meat but less vegetables due to climate .but Anatolia was different so food changed a lot too..its normal

you guys do ever think before you write?

  • @Daski69 and central asia isnt snowy

  • @Daski69 Hmm, think we copied, let me say we made them better than originals or made a fusion of all these kitchensand CREATED SOMETHING NEW ? because you know Ottomans and many other Turkish states in history always have been open to new cultures so we are used to make unique syntesis of cultures unlike nations insist on so called "purity"

So why don't we hear about Persian food or why people don't say Arab kitchen is awesome but everyone talks about Turkish cuisine. We are inventors of fusion

  • @mshefik1 hahaha do you really think that that is true...? fucking idiot... TURKISH FOOD IS AWESOME but it's a mix of the foods of different cultures like arab, persian, kurdish etc... you've copied their foods and made a great job doing it
