What I find that generally works is that if you use a flying character (Meta Knight, Jigglypuff, Kirby) and walk off the edge, then use flying moves to stay up, the enemies will try to jump at you, and if you stayin the air longer, they will still try to attack you, but end up falling. I got 100 kills from this!!!
I suck at cruel brawl. At 15-Minute Brawl, I was playing as my favorite character, Mr. Game and Watch and later on, Olimar killed me and I still controlled my temper.

very impressive. i'm gonna use this to unlock that treat at 5 kills. i personally think Nintendo should have thrown a more fun mode in there...such as u get 10 bats u can chunk at alloys for the most kills. weeee

Not to be rude though, but this IS NOT cruel brawl. this is ENDLESS. why do I say it's not cruel? if u have brawl yourself compare the percent u die with. Cruel u can die with 5%. Endless brawl u need maybe 50%+. I'm just pointing this out.
It is Cruel Brawl, actually. Cruel starts with 5 alloys, Endless starts with 2. On top of that, in Endless Brawl, items spawn and the alloys aren't that aggressive. Just pointing that out.

Contrary to what you'd probably think (especially if you're basing Cruel Brawl on past experience in Cruel Melee), not all moves done by the Alloys are insta-kills. Note that most of my damage was racked up around the 1:00 mark, where I was grabbed and (luckily) knocked out of it by a jab.
What will generally kill you instantly in Cruel Brawl are most smash attacks, aerial attacks, being thrown from a grab, and when an Alloy recovers from a fall.

in cruel brawl,
all the enemies are at lvl 9 difficulty
wit a 2.0 damage ratio.
yoo try taking them on directly
using more than 1 move
and tell me how it goes :]

Just because it's hard doesn't mean it's impossible.
Sure, you may have had rough time with it, as I have, too, but this seems to me a perfectly legit way of playing the Cruel Brawl.
It is, to be blunt, "strategy" :)
