  • I really like the celica GT4 hood on that

  • dude these kits are like 4k, thats not an excellent price at all lol

  • I got it from a guy on eBay. They don't make off the shelf manifolds for these cars. check out alphatuning for a new one at an excellent price. they make everything from a log style manifold to a full race equal length model.

  • @BigW505 obx makes a turbo manifolds for the saturns, not sure about the sohc though.

  • how did you find your turbo manifold i was looking for one for mine

  • Haters mane nothing wrong with tuning a saturn yea you can buy a V8 but this is how I see it if you can't bring out the potential in a 4 banger namely a saturn then you don't belong near a car a real car person can bring true power out of anything so instead of hating line up with a real car person and watch yoself get left behind. Nice saturn by the way I got a 97 myself good cars they r and I saw that 800 hp sky its bad ass look up the sky with the corvette engine its pretty nasty :-)

  • Yeah they also stopped making trans ams! Do they suck?!?....yeah didn't think so

  • Whatever you have no matter what it is mines better just like the rest of these guys so ha take that! right everybody? It could be any car in the world and ours are better every time because we say so

  • saturn is crap. hence they dont make it no more. what a shitty car i can faster then that junk.... lol what shit.

  • @1987Gnx1

i had a chevy cavalier that would have walked your buick. why talk down a saturn? ive seen saturns run 9 second quarters with turbos. for a 4 banger thats pretty quick.

  • @1987Gnx1 um dumbass pontiac was dropped too you going to say the same thing about them? because according to your logic the original gtos and trans ams were crap too since they don't make them anymore..... don't run your mouth when you look at only one saturn buick boy how many horsies do you have? because how would your 3500lb car like to take on a fully built engine that is turbocharged, pushing 340 hp, and weighs less than 2900lbs? or you could take on the 800 hp saturn sky?

  • Ican beat that piece of shit on my stock eclipse!!!

  • @stephn2006 really because my sl2 is all stock except the 3in intake and the only eclipse thats faster than mine is the gsx which i never see here so post a video of your car

  • Sounds poopy. My nissan maxima thats stock sounds better imo. But nice body kit

  • My Saturns the same color! :P

  • haha like all the comments about saturns being slow, do you realize a 1996 saturn sc2 stock will beat a 1996 eclipse stock? its really sad lol and fyi any four banger is slow i mean why put thousands of dollars in a four banger when most stock v8 cars can smoke it?

  • @normanaw I wouldnt say most V8 cars....most generally V8s are put into heavy cars. And the V8s Americans make hardly put out enough power considering how big they are. So in that respect, tuning a 4 banger is effective as you have a good power to weight ratio on your side to begin with. However, a Saturn engine is the last engine in the world I would put even $5 into.

  • where did you get that hood? and check out my satty.

  • where did you get your hood from?

  • Gay.

  • im puten a turbo t3 t4 and a full exhoust in my sl2 saturn dohc would it be fast

    ???????????

  • @rgomula

lol lets just say, try not to kill yourself while driving it.

  • what rims are those??

  • @funkjon lol fair enough, it's just hard to understand what you're saying

  • @funkjon you should really look into punctuation and grammar...

  • ricer

  • yeah put a huge turbo on a saturn and you'll probably get 40 more HP. Whoa scary!!!!

  • wow i have a saturn sl1 thats tuned out but this saturn here sounds like shit. i thought u blew the engine when u hit ur brakes. hahaha

  • What's so bad about superchargers?

  • @ksmcdan I guess whats bad about superchargers is that most little 4 cylinders dont have enough power stock to get any power boost from a supercharger. Id rather have a supercharger than a turbo. Much smoother power response if your engine can handle it.

  • I don't have a bicycle...but i do have an Sc1....and guess what? Eat a dick.

  • lol niccce.. i have a 98 saturn sc2 but its stock..straght asspiss

  • hey yo my brother it have an 2002 sc1 stock he wants to set an turbo kit on it can u help him by telling me how u get ur sc1 intalled the turbo and where becaose turbo manifold and down pipe is hard to find bro

  • tell your brother to stay in school, sell the saturn

and COMPLETELY FORGET About a turbo kit for it! complete waste of time

  • Eat a dick.

  • what does dick have to do with this shitty ass saturn?

fagget, you probably would like to watch another man eat a dick

  • No I would like you see you munch a dick as a sign of disgrace.

This Saturn prolly owns the shit of w/e you own (a bicycle?)

  • you are the cutest lil girl I have talked too today.

now not only do you change the subject from you wanting to a watch me eat a dick which is fucking still gay you fagget, to now you change the subject to 'w/e you own a bicycle' rofl! pa th e tic. first sexual insults then vehical, whats next my mother jokes???????

I still say you are a werido and would probably very much enjoy watching a man eat a dick, straight fag. enjoy your computer videos, love your collection hahahaha

  • Thank you I do enjoy my computer videos. Atleast I fucking have something. You cant compare yourself to me with your blank profile that you use to flame people on youtube with.

So, you do have a bicycle?

  • Eat a dick.

  • Sadly he's right, I have a 97 SC2 and the power yield for any turbo kit for this car, is horrendous. NOT even worth trying.

  • Hes better off doing a home brew set-up.

  • its called a clutch

  • That turbo sure took it's time to spool up didn't it? What size turbo is that? I am just getting my turbo SC1 going kind of descent now. I got lucky with my used turbo choice and home brew design. It spools up very quickly even with the full factory exhaust on the car!

  • he was brake boosting it, witch means he was a full throttle but had his foot on the brake so it would build boost without accelerating

yeah that car is poop but the turbo was not taking time to spool

  • I knew he was holding the brake. It just seemed to be stubborn to build the boost. I think by time he let off the brake and it spun, he was out of the better view of the camera. Does he have any video of under the hood? I've been looking at other turbo Saturn SOHC (which is rare) to see what other people did.

  • thats because sohc saturns are poop

the dohc is a much more efficient engine

  • Oh stock to stock without a doubt! I used to work on my sister's SW2 and it was way quicker in stock form. MPI and DOHC breaths way better than the TBI SOHC version. Plus the DOHC has more compression. But with a turbo the differences would be less obvious when shooting for the same HP goal (reliably) and the slightly lower compression of the SOHC makes it a little more ideal. I'd like to get 190HP soon, which is 100HP/liter. Stock is about half of that!

  • your wrong with a turbo the differences become more apparent (considering the sohc and dohc in stock form require different turbo's)

the sohc makes torque from 2500-4000rpm and power is gone by 5000rpm meaning you need somthing small to spool quick

but the dohc makes power from 3500-6250rpm meaning you could use somthing larger to flow more cfm and somthing the won't run out of breath at higher revs (the dohc will pull to 7500rpm with cams and pull hard the entire time)the sohc is just inferior

  • You don't HAVE to have different turbos but maybe one would have better results than the other on a certain application. The high revs of the DOHC is because it breaths better (in stock form) than the SOHC does. And the valve assembly is probably more reliable at those RPM's than the SOHC head. I don't know but that's a guess being that they designed the DOHC for revs. The intake tract IS the tuning in those engines. But force enough air into the SOHC and it WILL turn 7,000+ RPM's.

  • Until the engine starts to have massive valve float and you have problems that is. But it WOULD turn 7,000 RPM's otherwise. IN stock form the intake and head design is just not efficient at those RPM's. I also would assume my current turbo would also work well on a DOHC as well as it does on my SOHC.

  • And what I meant before when I said the difference was less obvious between the two, I am in no way trying to say the SOHC is a better or as good of an engine. Just saying I want close to 190HP and that I could probably get it with the shitty SOHC as well and therefore the STOCK power between the two would be less obvious if I was aiming for the same goal in power. 190 HP woulod be pretty quick for a daily driver 2200 Lb car. Not a race car or anything, but quick.

  • superchargers are for fags

  • and you have the name 0 to 60 in 16 seconds.. lol

  • yeah but my name is a joke and it's pretty funny but superchargers do suck

  • ha try racin a 4th gen maxima. you'd have a better chance winning with a boot on a wheel of uranus

  • he almost drove into that car at the end lol

  • why wouldnt you turbo an sc2? hah they kill hondas all day my little sl1 without the dohc swap is still killing hondas and nissans ect

  • hahahahaha

  • Come on now ;(

  • suave saturn oyes en cuanto sale ponerle turbo a mi saturn eeee :d

  • is your car an automatic?

  • yeah all sc2's arec aotomatic

  • no, i have a 1998 saturn sc2 standard.

  • no, not all sc2's are atomatic.

They also come in 5 speeds.

idk where you heard that from.

  • it was some bland rumor

  • why would you turbo an sc1?

  • sleeper dude.

  • no i meant rather than the sc2 with the dohc and 23 more stock horsepower

  • Turbo saturn??? Not bad i think saturn should have at least made one of there cars turbo but thats just me

  • Yeah that's why they got em now..well supercharged..but still forced induction/performance oriented. The Redlines are a nice addition for Saturn to compete with the other companies.

  • Isn't that the 97 SC2? I like the hood though, it's seriously a pain in the ass finding body mods for any Saturn under the year of 2000. I swear, the only body kit available for the 97 Saturn was the EVO 5. It makes me angry, since these can be made into pretty good performance cars.

  • sick shit. where u get the hood and turbo shit from?????

  • what kind of headlights are those? They look really green from the side.

  • They are the stock headlamps with green LEDs in them.

  • I like the hood. Nice work by your friend. Be more careful next time. It looked like you almost got t-boned. I would hate to see such a nice car get hurt.

  • Yeah how much did it cost? I got a SC2 though. dohc :)

  • Just the parts for the turbo setup cost about $2500. All of the fabrication and tuning was done by a friend and I. Since everything has to be custom built for Saturns this would have cost at least another $2000 if I took it to a shop.

  • oh wow cool man. Any dyno sheets yet?

  • how much did it cost to make your saturn like that?
