  • А снег в России не красный, а белый))) А ещё мокрый и тает, ибо сейчас в Москве -3 (джунгли, ХХ__)))

(Мне лень печатать на английском.. да... В конце концов сами в переводчик скопируете)))

  • @imarekena

это в москве всё тает .а тут написано про Россию.у нас -27 днём сейчас.вот это Россия.а снег действительно красный.если знать историю

  • That is result of cold war (or how it's called in America?0-0)..

  • @imarekena you're good *thumbs up*, no wrong translation

  • Russia is a slavic version of Nazi Germany's Lebensraum on Finno-ugric and turkic lands.

Common sense alone tells us Russia is too big to qualify as a valid nation state anyway.

  • @ZimoP u mad? 80% in Russia are Russians and Russians are considered to be a core-nation. And they are Slavic like Czech, Polish, Serbs.

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII

That's because you bastards savagely murdered native tribes and assimilated the rest.

Your "russians" are a mix of ukrainian kievites, turkic khazars/kipchaks, and finnics.

Russia must cease its colonies in Siberia, Caucasus and Karelia. Nothing can bring the peoples you murdered back, but the least you can do is not to colonize more lands.

  • @ZimoP OMG You are really mad. I mean dumb. I was just chuckling while reading your stupid post. Don't believe in that shit you read and fill your head with. Good piece of advice to you. :-) First of all we didn't kill anybody, all those peoples that live next to us in their republics but are a part of Russian Federation are alive since times immemorial. They comprise 20% of population in Russia but they are not ethnically Russians. The rest of your post was just like ridiculous delirium.

  • Comment removed

  • @ZimoP And there were no "ukrainian" kievits. Are you really mad buddy? Kiev was Russian. And learn exciting Russian history better cuz you must not get mixed with it, know that before Kiev there was Great Novgorod as a capital and prince Rurik there, (862-882 BC) and when he died his son made up his mind to move to Kiev to rule. The Rurikoviches dynasty started.

  • @ZimoP Furthermore all the chronicles and historical records that have been going through more than thousand of years of Russian history say nothing about "ukrainian" Ukraina means edge, borderland or outskirts in Russian language. And to tell you the truth the country Ukraine was formed about 100-150 years ago owing to Austro-Hungary, Poland and in the aftermath - USSR.

  • @ZimoP We used to be ONE for centuries. Anyways Russians haven't ever murdered THE WHOLE nations like Spaniards (Maia civilization) and English settlers (Indians, native Americans) They expanded YES, but they preserved EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY they took under Russian wing. Moving on - All the peoples are alive and kicking with their own languages, cultures and religions. But they have always been thin, scattered along vast territories Russians conquered.

  • @ZimoP BESIDES generous, smart, kind and forward-thinking Russians brought a lot of peoples real CIVILIZATION in the sense of up-to-date city infrastructure and stuff (for parts of Caucasus and for Siberia for example) It gets you are an empty-headed moron who knows nothing, but likes talking nonsense like splashing out your headshit. :-)

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII

I'm perfectly aware ukrainian lands used to be a part of the larger rus state.

What i'm talking about is: Ukraine/Belarus is the home of east slavs, Novgorod (Newtown) was founded in the middle of ancient finno-ugric land.

Word "ilmen" comes from finnic ilma

If you didn't kill/assimilate anybody, where are finnic muromians, meryans, mescherians votes etc.? Russians are so blind to their own history, Almost all of modern "Russia" was either finno-ugric/turkic.

  • @ZimoP You are complete retard :(. Aren't you an imbecile? I told you everything, the rest of your brain gaps you could have filled in yourself but you decided to kepp on being a dumb dickhead like a laughing-stock. Yes those thin finno-ugric tribes were assimilated that is absorbed by our overwhelming slavic community almost 1000 years ago. It was a natural process. Like if you throw a cube of sugar in the big mug of hot tea :) We were hot tea.

  • @ZimoP Ukraine and Belarus were parts of Rus/Russia for centuries too but due to historical circumstances like captures and invasions they split up. Novgorod is situated in the north and was inhabited by the tribe of slovens. Example Romania comes from the word "roma" but it has nothing to do with this ancient city. So you are just stupid. Original Russian territories are Slavic and we are Slavic-Rus, so spare me your bullshit. You are troll. just go to the psychologist with your paranoia

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII

"Natural process" lmao. So might makes right? It was perfectly ok just to invade their homes with sheer numbers? Like mexicans in southern US today?

Violence seems the only justice russians understand, It is a fact ethnic "russians" have tons of assimilated finnic/turkic peoples in them.

Nazi Germany's Lebensraum was natural too, hmm?

Original russian territories lie in ukraine/belarus, Their political isolation later is not important.

  • @ZimoP OMG It was more than 1000 years ago when there were no even nationalities. there were no "russians" then There were just a huge amount of east Slavic tribes who absorbed thin population of finns and scandinavians ONE THOUSAND YEARS AGO! What mexico, what fucking southern US? Are you taking pills? I'm so sick and tired of your ignorance you are fucking troll who doesn't know shit. Are you american?? That's ok you are the stupidest fastfood addicted animal. that explains all

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII

"St. petersburg" belongs to finnic Izhorians, ingrians and votes. Gtfo lying invader

  • @ZimoP go fuck yourself you stupid rat. Petersburg belonged to them 1000 years ago when it was a swamp, but now it belongs to Russians who made one of the most beautiful European cities out of the pathetic swamp. History and time is like this. C'est la vie. Don't mess with us you worm :)

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII

You messed with us in 1939, and we kicked your asses.

Your City of Bones was build with the flesh and blood of slaves on stolen land.

Not 1000, but 300 years ago.

You will pay dearly for what you did to us and our kindred peoples.

Russians are the worms, 100 million worms, the only reason you survive is because your numbers, because you are just RATS. We are the exterminators.

  • @ZimoP geez dude, no need to get racist and start calling whole nationalities rats and worms; same for you zeph, don't let people over the internet get to ya, ya never know who they really are

  • Comment removed

  • @kuraraShotai9 He attacked me several times ad hominem and i lost my patience. Anyway I still think russians do not fully grasp their history. They have destroyed much of the finno-ugric tribes and choose to lie about it, saying shit like: "It was always russian/slavic blahlah". They have denied the history of the native tribes.

It was not enough for them to destroy our kindred folk, they attack their pride by denying their IDENTITY and HISTORY.

  • @ZimoP I feel extremely pity for you dear finnish buddy. Because 1) You feel so lazy to look up our particular genetics that's widely represented all over the internet, it's not a secret it's called hm... wait a minute... SCIENCE, i guess (you should learn right history too, not some phoney russohobic articles)

  • @ZimoP 2) You feed yourself with myths and prejudices being so biased and spiteful instead of being impersonal and discreet but your head doesn't deserve to be full of rubbish and delusions i'm sure about it, i wish you did.3) You feel so weird and cheeky to learn history without mixing it up with your fucked up point of view that has nothing to do with reality fortunately

  • @ZimoP 4) You feel raped? You feel offended? You feel deprived? Poor little northern boy. It's all about your head again, you seem to be sort of mentally-challenged obsessed with shitty stereotypes and bad attitude towards my great country that won all the victories that saved many folks, that has an outstanding culture and heritage, that gave a lot of brilliant people and amazing discoveries/inventions to the world. All in all that contributed a lot. why are you so nervous about it?:)

  • @ZimoP You just showed your thick skull and evil soul once again you didnt have to, though.Anyway I'd like to ask you to try your best to evolve your inner space like spirit and sense of substantiality to enlight your own self cleaning some dirty places and smoothing out the rough parts.Make an attempt to develop into something NEW, something better, give up behaving like a whiny hell-raiser. I respect your country and please do me a favour respect mine inspite of all shit you think of it

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII

Ok, ty, I know stereotypes are a bad argument. And I know its extremely important to make a difference between individuals and the policies of a state.

I oppose the Russian state as we know it today, because it's grown at the expense of many small peoples, including mine.

The last 1000 years have been a losing struggle of survival for the finno-ugric peoples.

The reason I choose to whine about this is because I feel people are not aware enough.

  • @ZimoP It's up to you to get rid of your inferiority complex of a envious and tiresome creeper which you do have today to my rerget. Stop going in for dramatics, learn to be patient and calm. As a matter of fact i'm Russian and i want you be healthy. Just follow these pieces of advice i've given to you, dear friend. Do i make myself clear? Let's store up some hope. Have a nice evening.

  • @ZimoP well, I may not know much about russian history, since i have not had that kind of education (limited to an american public school, wish it had more history books or even mangas i could read, the school library sucks), but just about every nation has done that to another nation at least once, and it's common knowledge that the school systems mainly teach students about the "good" parts in history of their own nation, it doesn't mean they're denying it, it could just mean that they are...

  • @ZimoP ...simply focusing on one part of the subject, like when learning about, i don't know, the Spanish-American war; in spain, students will likely know more about what the spanish did an maybe make the americans look like the "bad guys", and vice versa in the american schools. If people really want to learn history, they can find out about events through history books and historically-accurate websites on the inernet.

  • @ZimoP ahahahahahah you are a stupid finnish killjoy who's angry that Russia is your "creepy" lol neighbour. I see :DDDD But don't go hide underneath your bed we''re not gonna conquer your ass but you should be punished like smacked or get spanking :-))))) By the way your knowledge of history is pathetic and misguided :)

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII

We are the proud children of north. we don't need to hide from you, if we did we would be long since dead. 1 finn equals 10 russkies, this is a fact.

I don't want to hear opinions of my history knowledge from a fucking russian stalin-lover.

Your so called "nation" is a big fat joke, just go drink vodka.

  • @ZimoP Your sense or perception is pretty distorted that makes me upset. That's what prevents you from recovering consequently knowing something true and light, still you've been so wrong and unfair according to your own world outlook. 5) You said something stupid this time concerning vodka. Hm... No comment.

  • @ZimoP oh, dude, I am an American, and I am here to say not all of us are like the stereotype you believe, and as much as I agree with you about Russians not being blood-thirsty monsters, I have to defend my adoptive nationality (Mexican-american). Don't be like zimo, don't go around bashing other countries and their citizens for what stereotypes make them seem like, you'll just sink to his(her?) level.

  • I'm from Russia, and I think that this is true in general ... But the fact that we have a completely different mindset than other people, so we have a different attitude to our history and events in our country.

    P.S.: I love this video ^.^

  • when Russia asked what colour the snow is, I knew the "correct" answer. That's kind of scary actually xD

  • anyway i will become one with russia -.-

  • holy shit, WTF is this??

  • @ToxaSpiritRU it's awesome that's what it is XD (makes me smile, the same smile i have when i listen to the spanish band of Mago de Oz *awesome band, kinda like a folk-metal band)

  • Люблю снег люблю зиму люблю Россию))))))))!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This was VERY brief and VERY one-sided history. I think the one who made this video should have used more reliable sourses of information than based the video on the material of the film. Films (even if claimed to be documentary) often disagree with history.

By the way, despite the common belief, we are friendly, kind-hearted, hospitable, humorous, SANE and POLITE. If you think we are not being polite while talking to you, mind that our neutral intonation SOUNDS rude to you) In fact, it isn't.

  • The very name "Rus" came from JeRUSalem

  • Well you are correct about the Russ part during the first era, however, it was mostly called ""Kieven Russ" do to the prince of Kiev finally uniting Russia to attack against the tatars, a mongolian horde that had been hindering Russia for too long. Then it wasnt till Ivan the 4th (aka the Terrible) so sieze Kazan and destroye the tatars. I know cuz I am Russian!

  • the first story about the snow being red, where does it come from? PLEASE!

  • @anamelia4 Becouse snow in Russia painted by blood

  • Comment removed

  • i remember one of the most infomus Czars his name was Ivan the terrible

  • north america *minus mexico* and russia love it!

  • I broke the number of likes, no devil.

Aaanyway, wasn't it the swedish vikings that discovered the russian natives and gave them food, supplies and a language?

  • @iwannabethekid34x It was a scandinavian warlord named Rurik and his expedition, who gave ORDER to the slavic people, we had language, culture, food (honestly, this food thing just made you look stupid in my opinion)

Anywho just do some research its too long and complicated to explain

  • @friday26th Explain the latin based language then.

    Smartass.

  • @iwannabethekid34x latin based alphabet, and it is for all south and eastern slavs because before the galgothic and crillyc alphabets we had used runes..

  • 666 понравилось

  • OH MY GOD- I need this song.

  • correct spelling is Rus not Russ - and Rus is not Russia - the name Russia is artificial creation by self styled Moscow 16C Dukes calling themselves Tsars and setting themselves up to be the king dicks of all the eastern Slavs which of course they were not - try to keep it accurate in future

  • Amazing! great video!

  • wow. just wow. Ivan has always been my favorite character, and i love learning about russia's history. the pictures, music, and writing fit very well together, awesome job!!!!

  • Wow great video you made!!!!

  • Ахахахахаха :DD

  • The Music is from the Nightmare before Christmas revisited:D

  • Welcome to reality, APH fans! We shall start our epic world tour of reality with...Russia. Fasten your seatbelts, it's gonna be a bumpy ride...

  • I'm Russian and its so amazing to learn of the History of the past in Russia. It certainly is something different and is interesting~

  • I have a Russian friend, she very sweet, nice and amazing. But She does tend to have... Scary moments, though not to me to others. So when I was seeing this and Russia replies the snow was red in Russia. I remembered all the things my Russian friend told me, and how she said all of it with a smile... And note none of the things she told me about her home in Russia was nice.

  • @AyameFyuu I'm Russian and i can tell you a LOT of nice things about Russia and my home. It depends on a individual you know. Don't go in for dramatics. This video represents my country as the creator wants to like "creepy and mysterious booo terrible breath-taking place boooo cold blood boo severe tortures boo ruthless rulers booo grey sky boooo ravens everywhere dead rats and so on and stuff" Every country in Europe underwent the same but this video is too overdone

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII the way i see it, is that russians are misunderstood by many others due to their bloody past, like Ivan here, he is a very kind and pure soul who only wants a friend to be with him, but the only way he knows how to get people to stay is through violence, since that was how he was raised to be since russia was born from many battles. Russians are not blood-thirsty aggressors, I agree :)

  • they should make documentaries on the shit that the western world committed throughout its history, watching all this red alert fantasy horror type shit about Russia is already pretty boring

  • @urka666 dude, i think there are, just go watch the DVDs from the history channel (not sure if they have any but it never hurts to look), or look up a documentary on the subject on youtube, but please don't bash on other countries just because this video in particular shows some of the bloody refrences of Russia's history, and ps, cussing is an art, should only used at the right time, not everyone will appreciate it, and it's always colorful

  • @kuraraShotai9 Learn to read. I didnt bash on any country. And the comment was about the general western view of russian history, not about this particular video. History channels try to make history entertaining like a feature film in order to attract the audience. Its all a bunch of generalizations and emotional crap. Wouldnt really recommend them to anyone.

  • @urka666 geez, someone's being cynical here am I wrong? besides, the history channel is suppose to be cinematic, to catch people's attention, and can actually be very useful if someone wants to see a quick glimpse at history of whatever they want in general, and there is nothing wrong with being emotional, it makes people inspired to strive for what they want in life 8that, and being very ambicious, or is that the same thing?)

  • @kuraraShotai9 Yeah its good for propaganda and imposing the point of view which is beneficial to those who have the power at the moment. Dont really care about explaining for 3 pages if youre missing the point of what i meant.

  • it sounds like a documentary from history channel Russia: Land of the Tsars

  • I love the beginning about the snow being red!

  • Russia: "What color is snow?"

    China: "White, of course"

Russia: "Hahaha. In Russia the snow is red."

    Me: O-O *scared beyond belief*

  • When Russia replied the snow was red in his country...

    Shit just got real.

  • what the hell r u referencin, its wrong

  • @sir0zeke

    its hetalia anyways >.>

  • I Hate Hentalia, History is not a Teenage Drama!!!

  • @sir0zeke If you don't like it then leave instead of wasting time to write a comment, Hetalia's not supposed to be act out every bit of history, it's an anime not a textbook.

  • @sir0zeke Just like the Cold War wasn't just a whole lot of sexual tension?

    Wait...

  • Well, I am russian and I was born in Russia and i studied russian history, and it was violent...

  • wheres tetris>?

  • wow this video is amazing it had interseting history and i loved the beginning part

  • russia, the land of 100 nations, was always like that. different

  • what tsar were you referencing at 2:33?

  • Actually the bloodest prince of Russia was Vladimir of Kiev who was bastard son from jewish woman and who killed tens millions of Russian people with his bloody christianisation which wasn't suit to our national character, climate and everything at all. Tell your history teacher

  • @Varezhkavil это он тебе сказал , что мать еврейка?

  • @0Russia0 Malusha, Vladimir's mother, had father Malk Ljubechanin (a historic fact confirmed with set of sources). Ljubech was in Hazaria rule.

  • @Varezhkavil tell your doctor that you out of your pills and need new ones, though best medicine for you will be sticking bLevashov's bullshit books right up your ass

  • Truth: met a Russian one word violent o-o

  • I was always curious to know how russians act towards other races and stuff. I'm not saying i hate them ( i don't. I actually like thier music) but ive never heard anything good about them except how beautiful their country looks.

  • You know... The more you learn about Russia, the more you can kind of see some similarities between the freezing country and America....

  • That had to be one of the most intellegent histories I've ever seen. Open minded, yet realistic, and the opening question and answer was marvilous.

  • That was beautiful...

I almost cried *shed a tear*

  • I watched land of the tsars too and I know how you feel! Those people were crazy!! And the guy that made everyone take a bite of a corpse.....

  • this is weird!

  • ....the song...it fits so much..... its from nightmare before christmas right...? is it a remix? if so can you tell me. plus this video is awesome!.....i want him for christmas.....

  • Comment removed

  • Nooo our history is much epic than this, and there lots and lot very interesting things...and actually this history, which you presented, is not true.

I just LOVE history of Russia and Russians who lived till Sovet was destroyed.

  • Russia- lying bustards and morderes

  • @trelemoreleization You;; Person who judges people to harshly, and person who cannot spell the words 'bastard' or 'murderer'.

  • @trelemoreleization Awww~ I'm not like that and i'm Russian!!!

What wrong with you anyway just judging like that?

If you want to judge, learn how to spell first! Ok?

  • @trelemoreleization and now try to speak rus...oh...english) and dont forget- "internet boxing" is useless...

  • I just wanna hug Russia ;_; poor guy..also he looks very cuddly lol

  • When I saw, at the beginning, the "What color is snow," I had an idea what would happen. When Russia laughed, I knew it for sure .~.

    RUSSIA FTW

  • In Russia, 195 nationalities, Ancient Russia consisted of Slavic origin are Swedes.

  • @Biogem369 Actually, modern Swedish and Dutch people are slavonised Varangians.

  • @GordonFreeMANness Dutch they are also drug addicts

  • Comment removed

  • I think Himaruya, creating Russia, created something that is bigger than him. He does some dramatic strips, and says that Russia went crazy with his childhood. HE WENT CRAZY. I don't know if someone of you studies Serial Killers, but some of their pasts are almost unberable. And I don't think Himaruya is ever going to show us what happened to Russia, because it's going to be too terrible and too dramatic for hetalia.

  • @supisto It's really just supposed to be the absolute horror of war that completely fills his past. Russia had so many violent wars.

  • @prankstertwins And not only that. Being a person, other than a nation, he felt real pain, as one 'human' being, not as a nation. I don't know how to explain myself XD But pretty much, the damage that mongols and other people gave to him as a person is greater than the damage taken from him as a nation.

  • Russian cruel only to themselves. And in Russia's history is less blood than in Europe.

  • @Biogem369 Russia has one of the most thrilling and mysterious histories ever in Europe and maybe in the whole world

  • i love you with a passion, i like how you used a nightmare before christmas song

  • I read the previous messages, and they made me cry. I really wish the world would become one. I wish it was under the rule of someone who does not use death and destruction as a way to control their people. There would be a big group like the UN to discuss world problems, and the ultimate leader, a real wise person who is neutral to all other countries so he won't play favorites, and has seen the outcomes of a war, would make the final decision. I know not many people would like this, but this

  • You've only just tipped the iceberg. That was mostly quotes and basic origins. I knew a lot of that from the Western History course I had to take (which avoided Russia and stopped before WW1). I'm more confused with the origins of the U.S.S.R.. But I loved the video and the music/ pictures and quotes. :3

I didn't know that czar comes from Caesar. That's very interesting and just goes to show you that the Roman empire really had a profound impact everywhere.

  • Thanks to hetalia i want to travel around the world before hetalia it was more like traveling to a dif country would be nice but NOW its the top thing on my bucket list next to jumping out of a plane in a mary poppins costume...

  • I used to be really creeped out by him, but now I just kind of want to feed him cookies and hug him. ._.

  • @deidara922 I'll fight you for him.

Sad and cute and creepy, the music sets the perfect tone, do continue.

  • (sublet smile) I like this video, all Russia needs is a friend to understand and not be judgmental towards him, and a hug

  • Please continue the history of Russia. I live in Alabama and the redneck - uneducated people here have a total mis conception of Russia. I'm 13 and I can tell you more about Russia that those rednecks could all together. Please continue this. And those of you who linger on Russia's history, it was the past, not the present, nor the future. What is done is done. However, we most not forget the past. For those who do, are bound to repeat it. But don't ponder on it.

  • ( looks at Russia) Mom can we keep him?

  • russia fasnates me....i really want to go to russia and learn more of my history my greatgrandma was from ukraine and her family russia and most my family from europe was etiehr around or in russia......and so i think thats why russia fasnates me.....

  • I learned Russian history in 3 minutes. The way you put music, pictures and text together is really great! They fit very well. And I loved Russias question in the beginning. God, it's impossible not to think about that after the video is over, not just in real history. I'm a huge fan of Hetalia's Russia and that made me understand him even more. Wanna hug him now, ownt...

  • I love how nicely this was put together! The music seemed to fit nicely, and now i can understand Russia's character in Hetalia a little better. Honestly, i don't really see why some people are getting so worked up over this video. Maybe i'm just being an "insensitive American", as someone once told me, but i don't see the big deal. It's not like the video says anything offensive; it's just showing how a bit of Russia's history influenced Ivan's character. Plus it was very well made

  • ......i dont know why but the story and the music fit so well... it made me want to cry...

  • ask me about the color of money in the Philippines....ill aswer you honestly....its a BUCKS, it dominates our day to day life... who cares about who....all that matters is DOLLARS.

  • @nawojka18 So there is now such people as Circassians, right? Or did their population reduced by 75% like it happened when Britain invaded Ireland?

  • @pitsot I've ment "There is now no such people as Circassians, right?", sorry

  • A simple and funny thing is.

The fact that in Russia life many "Nations" is an important reason.

And the fact that there exist many villages. The people which life in the villages know how build, how attach and so forth.. is a second important reason.

A reason for the great victorys and the great culture.

    Its how winston churchill said.

Russia is a riddle wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

So Intricate that it looks like a myth...

    The music is exactly fitting.

  • Russia, I think that I love you even more now. *-*

  • Russia will always be Russia! The history of this country makes me proud because I am a patriot of his country. Let people change the main thing - this feeling of patriotism.

  • russia is the best contry that ever whas

  • you should make more of these! i don't really have the time or patience to make one of my own, but i think you would have fun making them, and we would have fun watching them! *pushes subscribe button*

  • Those wacky commies, always sharing their wealth.

  • @DoctorYumYums you're the good ecample of stupidity. fucking retard. we're not commies anymore you dickhead!

  • @IIIZEPHYROSIII I know that, it's a fucking joke.

God, Communists have no sense of humor.

  • good but pics are gay and the real russians are white... now (i live in russia) people which call themselves (russians) are tshourkis asians and that is the beggining of the end in MY RUSSIA

  • Wow. There is so much world history that I do not know. I am ignorant. Hetalia and it's fans have shown me as much. It is pieces like these that lead me into the throws of research to better learn the truth and have better understanding. Thank you for a marvelous piece, very well done and put together. The music flowed well with the caption and the pictures were well placed. Thank you much for this insight, I will do further research on this to learn more.

  • Ha, I was reading this vid, and thinking, 'these quotes all sound really familiar...'

We watched Russia: Land of the Tsars in AP Euro a few days ago. XD

  • I love how this was put together, the music fit very well. good job

  • Nice done. It is a pity that I can not do better.

  • wat the hell...

Very good style, but that's not actually about our history. Holy shit, is Russia really has image of that kind in Western countries? Creepy as hell.

  • I want Stalin back =\

  • @Bibazavr Hell's not giving him back.

  • One day we will stand up, and unite all other slavonic cultures! For Mother-Russia!

  • i dont really know how to discribe how i felt about this vidio...thats not a bad thing....this was very good!

  • I like this.

  • What happened to the f***ing revolution!? THAT'S MY FAVORITE PART!!! You can't have a history of Russia without it's most eventful era! That's one of the biggest pieces of their legacy! Their glory!! THEIR VICTORY!!!

  • looks like egagerration

in the middle ages, almost all the regimes in europe were cruel

    Remember the Inquisition, for example

However, in XIX Russia was very liberal country in many questions. The life was quiet and peaceful, very low number of death sentences, legal prostitution, even legal duels; no much suppression on gays.

On contrary, in England there were death sentences even for small thieves, hard war on sexuality and other totalitarian elements

  • that music was so scary i shit my self O_O

  • @music1639 Calm down O.e Every country has bloody history, some are just more famous than others. "Japanese Cartoon"? It's called anime, this one is Hetalia. It's an anime where the characters each represent a country (well actually, they ARE that country). And Ivan, the "cartoon" in the back, is Russia.

  • I really like the music. It's soo eerie and chilling . . . and very beautiful. Have you done any more on Russia or the other nations?

  • I really like the music. It's soo eerie and chilling . . . and very beautiful.

  • Ivan is a really complex character, isn't he? He can be kind and cruel like a child, so to speak. My belief is that Ivan acts the way he does because he never had a childhood, that jackass General Winter took that right away from Ivan. PS, Great Job! I really like the quote in the beggining, did you make youself?

  • @gheldmann

Unfortunately he is. Seemingly big hearted and gentle yet childish and cruel, torturing those close to him one way or another. True, General Winter has caused him to hate the cold and has tormented him, but Russia's history is very dark as well. From the time the Mongols invaded to the Bloody Sunday and other dark events, Ivan wishes to see his country a happier place. He said in a strip that for centuries people have hated and blamed him no matter what he did. It's quite sad really.

  • @SolitaryWinterStar, You, my friend, are very right. Russian history is at times very dark and glorious.

  • @gheldmann As is history in any country, but Russia's seems darker than the others at times....

Being the country is never easy. There are so many difficult paths and people never truly know what they want, but if Russia ever wants a change, he's going to have to change himself as well. Change is hard, but being the same becomes dull. We must take a step forward or else we'll require two steps to get ahead if we fall backwards. I'm curious to see what will happen to everyone in the future.

  • @gheldmann where can i find Russia/Ivan's history is it a seperat manga besides hitalia? I have heards some bout it fr posts and im ciuriouse about it.

  • @Deamongirl123, I'd recommend Russia:Land of the Tsars. But it kind of depends on if you want to learn about Russia's early, middle, or (relatively) modern history. (i.e. Anastasia, The Fall of Tsar Nicholas the Second, Communism and it's fall). But I'm certain that there's a book or movie somewhere that is what you're looking for. :)

  • @gheldmann thank you i wuz diying to find out

  • @gheldmann i have one more question thought who is general winter?
