Gonzo ain't going anywhere; the White House doesn't want a vicious confirmation hearing for a new AG, so this one will stay on. Unless, as they say, they find a dead female (or a live boy) in his trunk.

You may be right but to keep him on or for him not to resign would be a mistake for the GOP. That will just fuel the invistigation. A new hearing would be a distraction.
