@IBG67 If you want to be technical about it....it really is supposed to be pronounced appa-lay-shun....it's just that most people down south say apa-latch-un. How do I know? I was raised in Mobile, Alabama and spent my Summers in the Great Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg Tennessee! Oh and I also looked in the dictionary. lol
hey - no, I'm in Kenya, and I don't have good internet. and I don't own a dulcimer anyway I was just borrowing it. don't worry, just keep working on it and I'm sure it will be fine!
Nice Job If I can offer one comment get rid of the pick and switch to a goose quill or turkey quill when I can't find either a long cocktail tooth pick works almost as well. You will find better string control.
Thanks that was swell !

why are you strumming there? You're supposed to strum the strings farther down , just above the cut-out area. That's why it's CUT OUT! Jeez!

@twjroth11 Jeez! I'd only played it for like 2 hours at that point. I thought I did alright for that amount of time.

Do you have anything else posted yet? I've been working on that song too but have a way to go before I'm totally comfortable with it.
