About 4 months. He recovered in a Doggie Dorm which he LOVED and still does to this day. I don't know what I would have done without it. Now he helps me sell them on HSN and appears with me regularly. Go to HSN.com and put Doggie Dorm in the search and you can see a video of him. He is such a charismatic and sweet little boy:-)
Oh that's awful! You should try keeping him in one of the Doggie Dorms when you need to try to keep him calm. Karma loved being in it.
Karma is great now although he recently bent one of the plates in his right leg from playing rough with some of his "sisters". He could possibly need another operation but I am hoping this isn't the case. He is such a happy little guy he forgets he is fragile event though he has so much hardware in his legs.
Very touching, I am so glad to see he has a home and family who love him. I also have two pom's who are having back leg problems due to poor breeding and surgery after surgery they will have a much of a normal life I can give them. They are our babies and they deserve the love back they give us. UNCONDITIONAL!
Karma has had four surgeries total and has completed his treatment. He is doing FABULOUS! In fact, he's doing so well and running around so much, we have to work at trying to get him to take it easy. He is one happy little dude. I will try to post a follow up video soon to show his wonderful progress.
This is a wonderful and beautiful ending to a sad story. What stamina this dog has for surviving. We can all learn something from this. Kudos to Cannine Castaways for the wonderful work they do.
