you sound good but have you watched Derek Holt actually teach how he does the bass line???? you don't gallop the strings like that......its not just one boom boom boom.....its a triplr all the way through....watch the vid ...very interesting....he also dampens with right hand on bottom and uses pick....just a thought :)

@zansioux thanks for that, never seen the vid before. He actually contacted me once this vid was up to say he liked it :-) Anyway, I always think its best to interpret the music your own way and play it how it feels comfortable, as long as it grooves :-)

Hubby is really getting good as he practices bass. We have a home music studio, and he is currently teaching 30 students guitar, violin and piano. He is classically-trained on piano and violin. Our studio is called Euphonic Studio in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
