i'm after 350whp in my version 7 sti if i did the above mods do you think i would be close?

A 300hp to the crank car. My stock turbo 06 STI just made 350whp and 448tq on a dyno where stock sti's make 235-240whp.

The car doesn't have 370hp, or 450+ tq, his dyno number are inflated, and heres a prime example.

I've seen some guys topmounted the intercooler on the STI and was making quite a difference. But i think they had to move the blow-off valve so it came up thru the hood to make space for the IC. I cant say if the numbers are correct or not but seriously, it's a 300hp car...not exactly impossible to get 370hp from that engine stock. The engine is'nt set to it's max settings.

So you replaced the clutch, intercooler and pistons before you got it up to 370 hp? I have an 07 sti and was thinking about doing the meth injection and maybe switching over to race gas as well. But do I need to change out he pistons?

A stock STI will handle 370HP no problem ... you don't need a new clutch (stock can handle up to 450 without issue), the stock guts can go up to 400-450 without issue (just control heat). And if you run race gas, you don't need to run meth, you'll just lower the octane. Sounds like you need to do some more reading before you do anything.

This video alone has reinstated my true love for the STi; the same love the 2008 model seemed to have taken away. I am on my way to being able to afford an STi, and I plan on making it just as fast as the one in this video, and sound just as B-E-A-UTIFUL.

BTW, where did you get the Intercooler? And Do you think a front mounted one would make any difference at all?

that car ran a 8.2 1/8 mile and blew up less than 1,500 miles after the tune. Big hole in the block broke rod came through the side, STI=$10,000 for dyno numbers, Evo=Priceless

really hum my 35r STi will be in the 10's shortly also stock motor also Junior tuned I only got to run on pump gas so far ran 11.9 @ 122mph No launch control no flat foot shifting. I'm going to get drag radials. Set up the FFS and LC should hit 10's on C16/Meth

Stage II - which means intake and exahust. he wrapped his turbo and down pipe. The pistons were replaced and he has a clutch master Stage IV clutch. Aquamist and a Dyno Flash AP 2 pro tune round out the mods (and a walbro fuel pump).
