This game pad is great for Battlefield 3. Unlike what he said, you can use the Joystick as a joystick. When you are programming it, you just have to program it as "Joystick" instead of an actual key. I use it for flying Jets and Helicopters.

I have just bought the nostromo and I am sending it back, I am going to quote a review I found on the net, I had the same problem as that guy: quote"" the directions do not disengage once pressed and altered. For instance, of you're pressing forward, then rotate your thumb to strafe left, then let off the d-pad completely, you will stop moving left, but will continue moving forward until the direction is pressed again"". I also thought that the D-pad was an analog (pretty stupid of me).

I have the razer nostromo i bought it because it was simple an emulated a normal keyboard better than the g13. I have swapped with a friend to check it out an i must say i dont like the feel of the 13. The nostromo has a space bar button it contours to the hand not to many buttons. Im not saying the g13 is a bad product, less is more some times at least for me

But if you spend $100+ on a keyboard you won't need a gamepad of any kind, quite a few keyboards even come with built in gamepads.

@levimoreno you dont really need the lcd screen because is has to be plugged into a screen to use it, maby a little bit more buttons, but razers are just spread out alittle bit more, custom lighting is not really a big deal because a lot of things are blue, and the thumbstick on the razer is a d-pad which makes it easier to know which way you press it (btw you dont need a stick/pad when you are using wasd on the keypad

You might have to settle for the nostromo if your hand is smaller, but the fact is the g13 is still a superior gamepad.

@tetsuma4l Actually the device was developed by Belkin over five years ago. Razer just bought it all. =P Had my original N52 now for over five years and it works like a bloody charm. I will, however, take a look at this. If the LCD is anything like the G15 one it's more or less rubbish, though. Sure you CAN program it, but not a lot of peeps do.

I was fine using WASD and keybindings for games like WoW. However, with FPS, directional attacks, blocking, sprinting, shields to keep track of, etc... a keyboard just wasn't enough. This set up is game changing for MMOs like AoC which make you control your character's movement completely.

I have a question about the macros. Is it possible to make a macro that, for example, repeatedly casts fireball - so that I would only have to hold the button down and NOT spam button? I'm experiencing discomfort while raiding with all the spamming of my filler spells.
